Histoire
It seems like a lifetime ago that Thedeim was a mortal man. After a fatal accident, he was transported to a strange realm to begin again as a living low-level dungeon. But he didn't stay small for long. With a powerful will, he built his dungeon self into a force to be reckoned with, full of minions, creepy crawlies, and a hedge maze to die for. Except Thedeim isn't a place where delvers die. He's a different, friendlier kind of dungeon, which suits both him and his many allies just fine. But being a nice dungeon means taking on some not-so-nice entities.

A cozy and fun dungeon adventure.

Really amazing, even if the book focused more on the war in the series. While it is understandable, that being a dungeon core isn't all about building the best maze leading to loot, conflict was bound to happen. The story was really amazing and by the end, it have me wanting more. I cannot wait for book four. The narration was perfect and hope to hear more of Michael Gallagher.

Ilea is going home. After a small detour to raid an old Necromancer’s treasure room. After months in the barren and deadly North, Ilea returns to Ravenhall to rest, check-in on old friends, and of course–train her resistances. Her homecoming includes a visit to Riverwatch where she encounters new allies… and old enemies. But what would a good holiday be without a few fights and near-death experiences?

MORE!
Évalué le: 2024-11-26
There are alot of litrpgs out there; Azarinth Healer is remarkably more different from the rest. While the story has a great mystery to explore, interesting growth of several characters and an amazing world to discover. What it does best is, it makes you feel the carefree adventure that we all crave. The narration was perfect as usual for Andrea Parsneau. The only fault I find, is that we now all have to wait for book five.

Worth the read

Being a young master is hard; especially if you don't know what you are supposed to do. The main highlight of the series has to be the main character. Clueless of cultivator life, politics and battle he has to BS everything his way to survival and it super funny as he fibs and flops his way out of a jam. Luckily for him he got cheats and meshes well with the story. The story is great, with hidden mystery and battles. The narration is also very well done which adds to the overall quality of the story. This series is worth it and I can't wait for book two.

Good, but could have been better.
Évalué le: 2023-08-27
First off, the story is unique with interesting characters and plot. The world is what you would expect to have in a fantasy world but it felt oddly lacking as well. My main issue with the story is that; it is a bit long winded as it take the long winding journey to get to the point or to move the story along. An example; the author talks about these gems, as in their worth and importance. After spending a good 3 minuets explaing the importance of the goods, it was concluded that they are worthless for the situation. Or the main character takes a long time to come to come to a decision after spending a long time talk about nothing in particular. I actually, fast forwarded minuets ahead when the main character is being overly descriptive about things, people and places. I am pretty sure, if the story was edited properly and condensed sections of the story, the story would not have been so long.
The real pleasure for the series was the narrator Kirby Heyborne. He does an amazing job and made the very long winded moments more manageable.

I have had the pleasure of reading the manga and watching the anime version. I do love the series and the narration was good but the audio book felt a bit unsatisfying. The narrator does a good job in helping the audience visualize the world and characters. However, while helpful, a lot of time is spent in describing everything. Which made the story shorter and the audio book version felt more like reading a play or script than an actual novel. The audio book version of the series is great, but I think reading the manga or anime is better.

Another hit
Évalué le: 2023-01-01
Jakob H. Greif does it again. Unlike other regressor stories, the MC for Apocalypse Redux isn't the lone hero trying to shoulder the end of day all by himself. He does the smart thing by enlightening people so they could hold back the apocalypse themselves. The story also points out the biggest dangers of the apocalypse; other humans. The system is tricky yet interesting, monsters are unique and the story is pretty fun. The narrator does an amazing job once again. I can't wait for book 3.

Ilea likes punching things. And eating. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many career options for hungry brawlers. Instead, the plan is to quit her crappy fast-food job, go to college, and become a fully functioning member of society. Essentially—a fate worse than death.

Try to imagine wolverine, using magic kung fu to bring down a dragon and you have Azarinth Healer. Totally awesome main character, story, setting and all done by an totally talented narrator. To those who have read it online; the audiobook version is something else. The action comes to life and you really feel the story; totally worth the purchase.

A total surprise
Évalué le: 2022-12-01
I went in blind when I picked up "Apocalypse Redux"; as I never heard of the author or the book. However, I am glad that I found this hidden gem, as it was much different from what I was expecting and in the end it was a complete breath of fresh air for this type of genre. First off, yes the the protagonist is a regressor of the apocalypse and this type of of litrpg is almost an old hat by now. Without going into too much detail; I must warn anyone who is interested, that this story will not be like other regressor litrpg gerna. The author does something truly special; by making the characters and story rational and explores the irrationality of people during the end of days. It is a little slow but filled with good amount of character building, action and "the system" gets explored systematically. The narration, done by Daniel Thomas May, was done well and it was actually pretty enjoyable. Totally good production and I cannot wait for book two.

Histoire
After waking up as a "bad guy" inside his favorite anime, stopping a royal kidnapping, and headbutting one of his character's bullies, Aren was finally ready to begin his academy arc...but then the plot screwed him over. Something is stirring in the mountains, and it’s driving the native monsters wild, forcing them to migrate toward the academy. And not even the academy, with all its enchantments and defensive barriers, could survive unscathed if they decided to attack.

I'm the bad guy is an interesting take of isekai, that "nopes" out of red flags and tropes. It is funny and pretty interesting. My gripe? I don't think the author put a lot of effort or meat into the story, like he does in his other works. Still it is a fun experience; which was marred by mediocre narration. It was difficult to take the story seriously when the narrator just decided to inhale helium, when playing the side female character. Instead of the the princess and the protagonist love interests, we got a someone from the lollipop guild. So, it was too short and presentation was "meh".

Histoire
Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year-old body on another world. His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. What’s a boy to do in a world full of magic and so many, many hungry creatures searching for their next meal? Well, there’s an old man inside that body, and he'll use everything he’s learned to survive.

Not worth it.
Évalué le: 2022-09-07
Dull and without real direction. However, the book does an amazing job in recreating the boring nature of a senior citizen. The biggest problem with isekai-ing an old man; they tend to miss their old lives more. A young isekai, they would jump into danger and adventure. Not this main character; Eight is slow cautious and makes the dumbest mistakes. Like running away from a town and living in the dangerous wood, for a possible danger being found out by other people. Also, he is a trained tacker, knowledgeable about sprite magic, survival...etc. That becomes tiring because it feels like his skills and ability seems handed to him.
In every chapter he mentions how ashamed he of his heritage and how much he misses his dead wife or dead grandparents. Which is odd, usually people would talk more their parents. Why is a 60+ year old man, keep mentioning his dead grandparents that were dead 50 years ago. The narrator doesn't help with his low relaxing voice. I actually fell asleep listening to him. There is moment where i missed 20 minutes and the story was so boring, I didn't rewind because it boring nonsense. Also, there is no real antagonist just minor conflict with local area boss. There is no lore or better understanding of the new world he lives in now. I could go on all day; just know that all of this is well written, dull and boring.
