A kick in the pants - good positive list.

This is not a deep book. It is a list of right thinking that will be as useful as you make it. Affirmations, common good advice, simplified instructions like: "stop running away from your problems". The narrator is clear and forceful. Although I say it isn't deep, it is on target for getting your head straight. Don't be cynical about this list, or you will shoot yourself in the foot.
I like the book, and I will come back to it on occasion to let it give me a pep talk.

This is a great book if you have ADHD or want to support someone in your life with ADHD. From the point of view of a London UK couple that are very honest with their challenges. Roxanne has ADHD and her loving husband, Richard, helps her unravel and adapt to it. It is full of honesty and setbacks from Roxanne's life.
The couple are very lucky. They have found a way to leverage ADHD for writing and internet influence. They have expensive setbacks that would end other relationships. What emerges is a loving story that is touching, especially if you have ADHD, were diagnosed late, and don't believe you will find a good relationship. Another person said listening to this book is like a hug. They clearly enjoy their life together and prosper. It can be hard if you are not so lucky.

Frank has gone through a number of sources and synthesizes them beautifully. This is very practical and informed. Save some time and start with this.
I like hearing the book from the author. You _know_ they understand their own message.

This is a story of a businessman who has lost touch with his vulnerable self. He is on the brink of losing his job and family. His car breaks down and for a week he must ride the 'Energy Bus'. The bus is a metaphor for a management style and a renewal of purpose for the man.
Its hopeful. It's well voiced. It's charming. I think the optimism is really persuasive.
I enjoyed it very much.

These people do not anticipate their audience. They do not check themselves or defend wild claims.
They sound like good people but they are full of their own stories and self indulgent.

I enjoyed her previous book.
This is Mirza's personal journey and a heaping dose of compliments for narcissist abuse survivors. She has no comparison to other people's recoveries and it rambles on and on. She excludes part of her emotional story for her own protection with the result that the reader isn't facing the trials with her. It is more like a travel log than her internal journey, It would have benefited from more publishing self-control to consider the reader\listener. It comes off as very self-indulgent.
Her voice is fine and she believes in this, but it needs a rethink.

Excellent in something you can listen to again!

This seems really informative. They didn't dumb it down. You see the connections. As you listen, other things you've heard about your body and aging make sense.
I fiercely recommend this as an owner's manual for your body. It has a vocabulary. It isn't always simple. It fairly represents what's going on in your body and it's good advice. Gave me a much bigger respect for nutritionists...
I learned a lot!
