Amazing!
absolutely amazing to learn how vast the universe is, and how so many scientists have contributed to our understanding of it!
All you could want to know is in this book, and then some... it's unbelievable how scientists were able to calculate everything from the size, mass and distance to planets, their moons, stars, galaxies and much, much more.
The narrator is very good at keeping one's interest with his soothing voice.
Well done by all who contributed to this marvelous story!

Excellent content... annoying narrator
Tyson should have narrated the book entirely or someone who doesn’t have a nasal annoyingly pitched voice. The content is compelling and remarkable... but took me several tries to finish due to my annoyance with the tone and pitch and cadence of the narrator.

Great title
overall quite informative and delivered in a way that keeps you interested
one con being the narrators voice. I would occasionally drift and start focusing on how nasally and annoying the voice was instead of the content

Can I get this narrated by anyone else?
I enjoyed the book when I borrowed it from the library but I don't own it so I figured I'd buy the audible version. Now I don't know what it is about the narrator's voice that simultaneously exhausts and irritates me but if you're anything like me this book will be very good for putting you to sleep in minutes as opposed to teaching you cool science stuff. I know that's rather mean but what I previously liked I find impossible to grasp in this version. That's what I get for not listening to the sample! Sorry Mr. Murray, I'm sure you're a lovely person in person.
