Great story

I really enjoyed the story, but I really struggled differentiating the different characters from the lack of different voices accents, every character sounded similar or the same.

Travis writes his books so amazingly that I feel like I’m watching a movie in my head, and Heaths performance is just as amazing, this is my favourite series by far! That I’ve re listened to books 1-9 three times and now I’m gonna restart again haha

Story
As usual, Montana Coggeshall is hell-bent on doing what's right, even if what's right isn't exactly what's wise. So he embarks on a quest to vanquish the corrupted ursus, a threat so large they could destroy the entire world of iNcarn8. Does Montana head out after months of training for cold weather conditions, amassing an army, and strategizing with his top aides? Not really. It's more like he just walks out of his holding one day with a guide and the members of his hirð. They're just a bunch of angry teddy bears, right?

I really love this series so far, i only have one thing I don’t like and it’s how our main character constantly uses the “Fuck-off” word as a description like fuck-off face or fuck-off claw…. That’s my only gripe

Story
Adrian faces threats he is aware of; weak but numerous enemies that no one else would even think about challenging. He is not at all concerned because of a simple fact of life: if you know what's coming, the risk can be mitigated or avoided in its entirety. With his companions, new and old, along with the energy windfall from the hoppers, Adrian has the purchasing power and the fighting strength to make like light work of monsters that would otherwise be problematic.

I’m terrible at typing reviews, but I loved listening to this series while working, it made me tear up near the end. Was kinda hoping for a book 7 but this was a good ending.

Story
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

I love this book, I’m re listening to this series after reaching the ninth book, I love the way Heath Miller voices all the characters and makes this story feel alive and natural, and I really love this story world that Shirtaloon has built. I can’t wait for every next book to come out!

Story
Morgan used to be a pretty normal guy. He went to college by day and played online games by night, leading his guild into new conquests - until he got hit by a car and a dude wearing a wet suit appeared in front of him. The man offered him a new chance at life in a world he had created, a world with similar rules to the games Morgan loved to play. There is the promise of great rewards and power, he says, if Morgan manages to complete the Tower of Power.

The narrator does a terrible job
Reviewed: 2023-05-02
The narrator ruines the book the way he reads the interactions between people, it doesn’t feel natural.
