In Unruly, David Mitchell explores how early England’s monarchs, while acting as feared rulers firmly guiding their subjects’ destinies, were in reality a bunch of lucky bastards who were mostly as silly and weird in real life as they appear today in their portraits.

Humour Helps !!

David Mitchell's wit and cleverness makes everything he does interesting and very funny ! I LOVED " UNRULY" partly because I enjoy history, but I bought this book because David's humour is the best!! ( I found myself actually remembering dates and names, ha ha. ) I think this would work perfect as a History book for today's students. (* language is for young "adults" )
Great book Mr. Mitchell, made extra special because it was narrated by you !! Thank you for all the laughs!!
p.s. please write & narrate more books and do more sitcoms, love all your work!! Really wished "UPSTART CROW" could have had more seasons...Just like a good teacher, you educate folks without them even realizing it. I love that too!!

In Two Words : Amazing Journey. Miss O'Connor, I wish to say thank you sincerely for sharing the story of your life and with such candor, too ! I've been listening to your book since shortly after you're very unexpected & extremely sad passing. Peace and blessings to you
My grown daughters and I are feeling your loss... You are a beautiful soul. Sinéad you seem to have always been ahead of the curve and on the " Right side of History" and way ahead of most of the rest of society. A true warrior who, while being a gifted 🎨 artist 🎶 was also deeply sensitive and empathetic alongside such cleverness. You were a natural born caregiver. Thank you again for your utterly riveting book... I think it will help other gifted people like yourself to find their tribe. A special thanks for doing your own narrating.

He develops a drug that transforms him into the demonic Mr. Hyde, in whose person he exhausts all the latent evil in his nature.

First published in 1908, The Wind in the Willows belongs to a golden age of children’s book. These charming tales of the riverbank, describing the adventures of Ratty, Mole, Badger, and their irrepressible but conceited friend, Toad of Toad Hall, have become classics loved as much, perhaps, by adults as by children.
