Good Read! Crap narrator
Reviewed: 2023-04-07
After having read the
Obesity Code, Fast Feast Repeat, and several others, I appreciated this book. I have tried OMAD, various fasting lifestyles, extended fasts, etc, and I appreciate the wisdom in this book. It is worth a read, but you have to get past the narrator. He sounds like a robot, almost like AI. Mechanical, no emotion, robotic. Once you accept that, just listen to the book. It would be a shame to miss the content because the narrator is bad. Download it anyway, it's worth it.

Story
The previous edition of this now-classic book revealed the existence and subversive manipulations of "economic hit men". John Perkins wrote that economic hit men (EHM) "are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. Their tools include fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder".

Very informative, but Obesity Code is way better
Reviewed: 2022-01-21
I found this informative, but a lot of duplications with Obesity Code which is a way better book. the narrator was a little wooden but I got used to him. It was often repetitive, could have used more editing for conciseness. I preferred Fast Feast Repeat by Gin Stephens for fasting tips and the Obesity Code should be required reading before starting any fast.
