Different type story, I enjoyed this novel, but not as well as some.
Took me awhile to see where this book and the characters were headed and would end up. Author was able to pull it together at the end. Would recommend!

Great narration. Many ups and downs. Showed the depth of hate when divorce is imminent.
In the end, love conquers all, bringing 2 families together and finding happiness.

A story about loneliness, sadness and uncertainty. It takes a twist when all is resolved and the characters in this book find everything they needed in places they least expect it.

Especially love the narrator. I listen to the narrate for other authors.
The book was funny and then heart wrenching at times. Many twists and turns. A book about holding grudges and how they destroy the individual more than the one they are angry at!

Story
Lisa Wingate has been favorably compared to authors Nicholas Sparks and Richard Paul Evans. In A Month of Summer, Hanna Beth has been caring for her aging husband - who suffers from Alzheimer's - and her developmentally challenged adult son for years on her own. But when she suffers a stroke, estranged stepdaughter Rebecca must take the reins. As she cares for her father and the step-brother she's barely met, Rebecca slowly begins to heal both herself and her family.
