Story is great but performance takes away from the story

I enjoyed the storyline but the narration was monotone and lacklustre. I did not finish the book in this format because I found myself falling asleep to the emotionless voice and opted to buy the physical book to finish reading it :( I will be steering away from this narrator in the future. On the other hand though, the author is great!
