3rd time and still friggin hilarious!
the absurdity really stepped up a notch in this book and yet, I still am fully sucked into the story and believe it could all be really happening. I also feel like the characters stepped up to a new level of depth during this story and as always I find myself breaking out laughing while listening at work... hahaha

Keeps being awesome
Loved every moment.
Loved the unique aspects of this level / floor and the character progression. We continue to see characters develop emotionally as everyone gets to their breaking points... except one. You will not break him.
We also continue to see hints into what's going on outside of the Game.

Each book gets better
This is the perfect series for me. Not to serious but a good pretty unpredictable series that makes me laugh. I can't wait to listen to it more. I am tempted to just relisten to books 1 - 4 right now. I know book 5 is out but I am waiting for book 6 to listen to 5 and 6 back to back.
This was my first entry in "LITRPG" but don't let that scare you off. I'm 47 and a professional, this is not a kids book. I would say 14 years old +. Don't let the title of the series scare you off. Try book one I think you will be surprised. If not you move on.

Still Loving this Series!
This series is killer. This series really makes me laugh while also being very serious at times. It is a wild world that Matt Dinniman has thought up.
I am giving this book 4/5 stars in Performance and Story only because I was thrown a few times while listening. There were a few parts where it sounded like Jeff Hays' voice changed. I am not sure if he was recording in a different room or sick, but at one point Carl sounded a lot like Mordecai. I had to back up and listen again to make sure I understood who was talking. There are also a few places where the story felt a bit rushed. Carl would send a message to someone who I could not remember him talking to earlier and they would execute some plan that was sort of dismissed as not important.

The galaxy is getting impacted
This In this book, Carl really starts to have an impact on the outside of the dungeon. He's shaking up the galaxy. Great preview of what's to come.

4 Books in and still Wowed!
This is still the best series I have listened to on audible. Not including the story Jeff Hayes really brings every character to life. The production is still fantastics and really keeps you in the story.
By Book 4 most of you know what you are getting into and this really is more DCC but notched up another level (alot more focus on gods). At first I was a bit worried with the level design as I felt book 3's level was super confusing but as the story progressed it became clearer and throughly enjoyed this level. Also shout out to the multiple characters added to this book, compared to book 3 I felt this world's NPCs and other characters were really fleshed out.
And I'm giving bonus points to the epilogue which teased so much more to come and really makes me want to dive into the next book right away.
