I loved that Mercy finally finds love and the twists and turns throughout the book had me on the edge of my seat. The end blew me away!!!! Kelley Hazen is by far my favorite narrator. Her ability with voices allows the listener to bring the characters in the story to life.

Great Listen

This was a really long one, so at first I was skeptical. However, I was quickly pulled into the story and had to make myself put it down to actually do some work. As usual, Kelley Haden narrates this story in a way that makes it like a play being enacted in front of you. Her skill with voices makes it easy to differentiate between whose speaking and when. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this continuation of the storyline between the vampire/witches and the wolves. This particular series following Hailey is a little more juvenile than the series following Mercy, but that's to be expected since it's written from the point of view of Hailey, whose basically a teenager/young adult. The narration is spot on, as always with Kelley Hazen. She definitely brings the characters to life with her narration. I've listened to books that are completely ruined by the narrator but that is not the case here.

Took a minute to get into, but then I was hooked

This story was given to me to review as a promotion. At first, I didn't think I was going to like it. It's read by Kelley Hazen (one of my favorites), but I had to remember that it was a different author. About half-way through the book, I found myself hooked. So while it started slow for me, it turned out to be a really good book. I can't wait to "read" Book 2.

Excellent Read from the World of Samar

I find that whenever I start one of these books things start to happen in my house that are extremely un-natural.....like dust bunnies the size of my German Shepard start running across the floor, dishes start spilling out of the sink, and clothes start creeping out of the hamper like they've given up hope and are going to crawl to the washer on their own. These books are so good, I lose all track of time!

The 5th book in the series is no exception. I loved the characters brought over from the 4th book even more than the previous books main characters (these are their children). If you don't call yourself a fan of Fantasy Fiction, but you love all of ML Hamilton's other series.....READ THIS SERIES!!!!! I have never been a fan of this genre, but I read it because it was given to me and I didn't have anything else to read at the time. I am a HUGE fan of ML's books and this series is no exception.

Kelley Hazen is one of my favorite narrators. She does an excellent job of pulling you into the story. She's very good about giving the character's their own voices, so you know exactly who is speaking at the time. I've had books where the narrator reads the character's voices in the same tone and it makes it hard to follow along with who is saying what. Kelley is an amazing narrator and you will definitely not have that issue when she's telling the story. I can't wait for the 6th book to be released!!!!!

OMG!!! I didn't think these could get any better!!! I LOVE the stories with Talar and Shara even more than the first 2 books if that's even possible!!! I can't wait for Book 5!!!! Thanks to the last 2 books (Books 3 and 4), I've completely neglected all the other books that I was going to listen to/read this last week and I have no interest in them because I've been so wrapped up in these books. The narration is everything!!!! It's like a movie playing out for you while you listen. I can't wait for the other books to be narrated. Please get this done quickly (me being greedy) so I can keep listening. LOL

Word of advice....don't start this book if you have anything else to do....you won't do it.

This book was so good, I completely neglected work (of any kind) for the 3 days it took me to listen. I listened in the car, on my walks, in the grocery store....I couldn't "put it down". The story was so filled with action and the narration made you feel like you were watching a movie.

I did not start out as a fan of fantasy fiction, but I am hooked on these stories from M.L. Hamilton! And Kelley Hazen is one of my favorite narrators. She pulls you into the story and makes it so you can "see" the interaction between the characters.

Excellent Read

I am not a fan of fantasy. That being said, I was given these books as a gift and needed something to listen to while I waitied for other books I wanted to be released. OMG!!!!! I became hooked!!! The story line pulled me in and captured me within the first 20 minutes. The narration by Kelley Hazen was excellent. She gives specific voices to each character so you can tell exactly who is saying what and makes it so easy to lose yourself in the story.

The story line in The Talisman of Eldon left me cheering for some characters and cursing others. It was like "watching" a really good movie. I was stunned at the end of the book and couldn't wait to see what happened in the next book.

The Heir of Eldon had me hooked from the beginning. The continuation of the story from the 1st book shocked me, but had me hooked just as much. If anything, the story got even better!!!

I can't wait to see what the next books have to offer. I'm guess I've officially become a fan of fantasy.....as long as they're from this writer and narrator. LOL
