Enjoyed the book a great deal, Why ? Because of the way in which Franky describes what Christians are willing to give up to lose their freedom in Christ in exchange for slavery to this worlds way of thinking.

The narrator was not concise enough to truly understand or believe why the Tridentine councils were pivotal for the gospel to be proclaimed with clarity, simplicity, and overall truthfulness. regarding the importance for the need of a reformation that would result in supernaturally changed lives.

The narrator George W. Sarris possesses a very pleasant voice that is a delight to listen too every time I turn on this book.. It's been a long time since I went through the entire book of psalms and I will most certainly do it again.

This was a book that I've been wanting to read for many years and I am very glad that I could, The narrator Simon Vance has a strong English accent that made it difficult to gather the meaning of the words he used to describes C.S. Lewis perspective regarding the Christian life and how pain has a positive role in the purpose of God's redemptive plan for His saints. Thank you C.S. Lewis . See you in the Kingdom of God when I arrive.

Hell & Why God is Just

Aside from listening to Jonathon Edwards sermon on Sinners' in the hands of angry God narrated by Max Mclean a couple of yrs. ago; I disagree with Bill Wiese's perspective regarding children not being sent to hell. Why ? According to Romans 3, 9, & Ephesians 2 we are by nature children of wrath as opposed to children of God. It's a spiritual condition that all mankind are born with and is very consistent with the true and living God who not only hates the sin but, the sinner as well; Therefore, because is Holy and Just no one will ever blame or deserve the righteousness that God's justice demands. Lastly, only the children brought into the covenant family is their any likely hood that God will save some instead all.. Example; Jacob I loved but, Esau I hated.; Romans 9.

Our Sanctification

Although I have personally met with Francis Schaeffer in Pittsburg Pennsylvania in the 1980's he has my deepest admiration for being a brother in Christ who can express why Christians divide and seldom reunite organizationally or doctrinally. Christian leaders would prefer to maintain purity in the form of programs instead of developing personal relationships with one another. I take John 17 personal and believe I have applied these words on a daily basis because our Lord commands it so.

War & Peace in the United Colonies of America

I liked the narrators skill in describing the events that shaped the development of the Revolutionary war and what battles made the difference in spite of the fact that General George Washington was out numbered. Were it not for the French to support the American colonies we would not enjoy the independence we have today.
