Worthwhile & Appreciated

I wasn't to sure what to expect from this book, But I really enjoyed it from the Starr to the finish line! I'm almost 60 years old and have been a motor racing enthusiast and competitor for many decades and a huge Ayrton Senna fan.
This title is superb, I absolutely loved it, Senna was larger than life and larger then the sport he competed in, Over the years I've read many many books on and about Senna, But this one takes you into his life and I came away smiling after finishing this wonderful book, A great work and one I'm sure Ayrton' Would be very happy with.
Over time I've look for titles on Ayrton Senna on audible but there really wasn't much so I was glad when I noticed this title and thankful that it gave you a taste of Ayrton as a real person in the 1st person!
To the author a big BRAVO 👏
A tremendous and worthwhile book on the life & times of the greatest ever grand Prix driver, I look forward very much to enjoying the concluding volume and the author did a marvelous job with the narration, Thank You for creating this book.

You Have to Tune In!

One of the best music biographies on planet earth!
This is the second time I've listened to this and at almost 44 hours its a huge undertaking but extremely rewarding, The skill with which its all put together is breathtaking and compelling to listen too, You really feel those times in Liverpool and Hamburg and original drummer Pete Best is fully included and his part in the early years of the Beatles from August 1960 to August 1962 is covered in depth, Going back to the individual childhoods of all the Beatles greatly adds to the journey to, Ringo's early life is pretty heartbreaking and the author has done a stella job of explaining the Beatles in volume one!! I wholeheartedly look forward to volumes 2 & 3 at some future date.
Highly Highly recommend 👌

How it was, Way back when!

I enjoyed this biography of the early years of David Bowie 65 to 66
Nice narration from David's old friend and drummer in the lower third, Phil Lancaster, All in all i felt I gained a better understanding of David's personality and his sense of humor and the friendship he shared with friends & bandmates in the lower third.
very recommended to those who want to know a little more about Davie Jones!

An absolutely wonderful and well written autobiography of Sir Cliff's amazing life written by the man himself, Who still continues to inspire so many people and fans around the world, America and the world had Elvis and the UK and the world has Cliff!.
This book covers all aspects of Sir Cliff's life from his humble beginnings to his meteoric rise to worldwide stardom beginning in 1958 when a young 17 year old chap called Harry Webb began his recording life with a Rock & Roll classic called "Move It"
The stage was set and the fireworks flew as each new decade brought his story to the world, classic songs, unforgettable movies, concert tours and so much more, but as you will see in his autobiography Sir Cliff's feet are very much still firmly on the ground.
This book and his story are a joy to enjoy, the good, the bad and the ugly! Which is mention to the terrible and groundless accusations brought by the BBC, I recommend this autobiography very highly, it is superb and rich in detail, reflection and insight into what makes and sustains a global superstar with true staying power.I
