Historia
Getting heard is a tricky business: It’s what you say and how you show up, filtered through your audience’s assumptions and biases—and maybe even your own. For women, people of color, immigrants, and queer folks, there’s often a dissonance between how you speak and how we collectively think powerful people should speak: like the wealthy white men who’ve historically been in charge. But, fortunately, the sound of power is changing.

Hope and challenge

I love this book. I love the way in each chapter. Samara Bay demonstrates precisely what she’s talking about in a way any listener willing to listen, can learn and appreciate. I feel emboldened to become the kind of person and professional and speaker I want to be.

Story of Love and Triumph
Revisado: 07-06-23
Beautifully performed. This is an all time favorite book for me. Such a beautiful love story, how to love someone and learn to love yourself. The way she sees how others perceive her while not truly knowing her and how she knows herself. It’s a story worth reading and hearing multiple times.
