Historia
We live in a world that’s obsessed with talent. We celebrate gifted students in school, natural athletes in sports, and child prodigies in music. But admiring people who start out with innate advantages leads us to overlook the distance we ourselves can travel. We underestimate the range of skills that we can learn and how good we can become. We can all improve at improving. And when opportunity doesn’t knock, there are ways to build a door.

The Song of Significance is a rousing contemplation on work: why it is the way it is, why it’s gotten so bad, what all of us–especially leaders–can do to make it better.

Historia
The path to personal and professional fulfillment is rarely straight. Ask anyone who has achieved his or her biggest goals or whose relationships thrive, and you'll hear stories of many unexpected detours along the way. What separates those who master these challenges and those who get derailed? The answer is agility - emotional agility.

This book will give you the skills to live your best life
Revisado: 03-08-21
I listened to this book on Audible, which I recommend, as the author reads the book herself. There were so many profound statements, that I also had to purchase the hard copy as I found myself constantly looking for post it’s. Susan David provides the science behind the, “ why,” of our emotions, while also providing a roadmap, or practical,” steps,” to help us not allow our emotions to be the driver, instead, she eloquently teaches us how to harness our emotions in order to live the life we want to live. I’m going to listen again- so good!
