l enjoy mystries. If I had known what the theme of the book was about, I probably would not have read it, but I am glad I did. It was very well done. I won't say more since the mystery is part of the fun.

Worth Reading
Revisado: 07-13-20
I probably wouldn't have read (listen to) this book if I had known the basic theme since I lived through that time. One doesn't want to remember even when everything that happened effects the now. The book gets it right even though it is fiction. The story is engaging. The reader for the book, perfect.

The story is about saving a dying girl in a snowstorm. It is a "can't put it down" story. The narrated is perfect for the old sheriff. Craig Johnson is amazing on his ability to tell a riveting story.

Confusing Book
Revisado: 03-16-15
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone who likes complicated stories and is not interested in character development.
What was most disappointing about Daniel Silva’s story?
Confusing. It was like several stories were going on at once. I don't sit and listen to a whole book at once. When I stared to listen to it again, I couldn't figure out what was going on.
Which character – as performed by Phil Gigante – was your favorite?
None. The story did not lead you to care about any of them.
What character would you cut from The Rembrandt Affair?
All of them.

History Made Interesting!
Revisado: 07-29-14
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
You never are sure what was going to happen.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I have not particularly been interested in history but after reading this book I had to look up what happen the historical characters in the book.
Any additional comments?
This book really draws you into the time and place. It depicts what life was like and reminds one of how good we have it in the USA.
