Historia
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

A book about writing a book.
Revisado: 05-20-20
This book was more about Tom writing this book than the story about Manson or the CIA or anything else he mentions. There is information he uncovered that casts a disparaging look at the trial of the family members but little information is presented in between the tale of Tom writing the book.

Historia
When she was suddenly given the opportunity of a new life in rural Jutland, journalist and archetypal Londoner Helen Russell discovered a startling statistic: the happiest place on earth isn't Disneyland but Denmark, a land often thought of by foreigners as consisting entirely of long, dark winters, cured herring, Lego and pastries. What is the secret to their success? Are happy Danes born or made?

Fun and quirky year abroad
Revisado: 11-12-18
This is a really well written, fun story about spending a year abroad and learning the ins and outside of a new culture. Russell's writing is great and the story flows well. The narrator is perfect and delivers a great performance.

Slow moments but a thrilling story of human limits
Revisado: 04-10-18
The last section of this book is thrilling reading for anyone who knows the thrill of racing.
The narrator does not do this book justice and there are a few errors in the speech. Great book about the limits of human performance none the less.
