Another great apocalypse tale

Loved it. Action through out, believable action. good faction interwoven into the story. As per usual, if you are upset by references to Christianity and religion in general, you will likely be put off, you're missing out though, just put your religion beliefs on the shelf, and check out the story. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Ending the series with a whoop

Mark Goodwin knocked this one completely out of the park. Pulled all the aspects of the story together and then pulls the reader along for the final surprise ending. I enjoyed the Days of Noah, I loved the Day of Elijah. Gave me plenty of adventure, as well as plenty of information that I had to go look up. The religious aspect is worked all the way through, and is well done. Mark has developed into one of my favorite authors. Looking forward to the next series.

Knocked it out again

Great story, great narration, making me think about how the world will eventually come to its' end. I'm happy with the Christian story and look forward to the next chapter.

New perspective for SHTF story

Still listening to the Home series, still enjoying them. That said, this is a completely different kind of story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Is it the best book I have listened to this year, no, but it was good enough to listen to twice, and I will listen to it again later. There is good information to be had, if you pay attention, love one of the storage ideas for instance. If you like A. American, you should like this audio book, and like another reviewer said, Duke Fontaine could make a grocery list sound good.

Surprisingly good book

Picked this up on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well written, good character development. Some interesting moments, teaching moments, if you will. As with all books like this, there are a few things that are more than a little far out, but the author's description of the busy body HOA is spot on. Some people just need their little kingdom so they can try and make other folks near them mad. I would recommend this book, have listened to it twice now, and enjoyed both times.

Another fact filled book

Thoroughly researched and explained, it gives the reasons why "It Is About Islam" without resorting to name calling, and going for the emotional gimme. If you are interested in finding out more, it is well worth the price of admission.
