Historia
The crime-fighting careers of Hercule Poirot and Captain Hastings have come full circle—they are back once again in the rambling country house in which they solved their first murder together. Both Hercule Poirot and Great Styles have seen better days—but, despite being crippled with arthritis, there is nothing wrong with the great detective and his “little gray cells.” However, when Poirot brands one of the seemingly harmless guests a five-time murderer, some people have their doubts. But Poirot alone knows he must prevent a sixth murder before the curtain falls.

THE BEST OF POIROT!!!
Revisado: 09-04-24
I LOVED this book so much! I had to listen to a few sections to clarify the scenes. This is absolutely THE BEST POIROT book EVER. The ending was MAGNIFICENT AND ASTONISHING!! One would think I would be crying or extremely sad. But instead I feel the ending is a GREAT TRIBUTE to Poirot!! I would not nor could not think of a better ending!! Blessings to the little man with excellent "gray cells"!! I shall miss you very much!!

Do you think mainstream America needs to find its voice? If so, you’re not alone. The country is under attack by extremists at the fringes who put ideology before sanity and stoke division for their own gain. They are trying to rob America of its common sense and deny empirical truths, and we’re all suffering the consequences.

A Book for Every Student, Parent, and Government Official!!!!!
Revisado: 05-10-24
This book should be TAUGHT in EVERY classroom above elementary school. It DEFINITELY needs to be taught in every higher learning institution. I have learned so much from this book about our society, our government, and MYSELF!! I really enjoyed the poll questions. But I especially enjoyed Dr Phil's explanations before analyzing the questions ~very insightful!! I have a bit of work to do on myself so I know I will be reading this book again VERY soon. I have already recommended it before I was a fifth of the way through it!! Excellent book, Dr Phil!! And thank you for honesty and great research!!!

An Intense Emotional Ride
Revisado: 04-21-24
This story is so emotionally charged and so intense. It brings together two people from different generations to a climactic new beginning. Once you start reading or listening, you won't be able to stop!! And it is well worth the time!!

Historia
To Christina Olson, the entire world was her family's remote farm in the small coastal town of Cushing, Maine. Born in the home her family had lived in for generations, and increasingly incapacitated by illness, Christina seemed destined for a small life. Instead, for more than 20 years, she was host to and inspiration for the artist Andrew Wyeth and became the subject of one of the best known American paintings of the 20th century.

How Christina's Opinion of Herself Changed
Revisado: 03-25-24
I didn't like the way Christina was treated and the effects it made on her outlook on life. But the ending chapter shows how she changed her opinion of herself and how she treated others. It's as if all the pain, hurt, and bitterness just fell away when someone "saw" her for herself. I could relate to her story in many ways!! This is a great book on how life events affect us. Excellent book!!

What An Incredible Woman!!
Revisado: 03-01-24
Morton always has interesting clients. His adventures into solving the mystery of their ancestors' lives are filled with intriguing results. I think this particular case caught him off guard and intrigued him at the same time. I really enjoyed seeing his reaction to this woman's life and the compassion and respect he felt for her during the search. This is a very powerful story!!!

Historia
In 1972, when workers in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, were digging the foundations for a new development, the last thing they expected to find was a skeleton at the bottom of a well. Who the skeleton was and how it got there were two of the long-held secrets kept by the residents of Chicken Hill, the dilapidated neighborhood where immigrant Jews and African Americans lived side by side and shared ambitions and sorrows. Chicken Hill was where Moshe and Chona Ludlow lived when Moshe integrated his theater and where Chona ran the Heaven & Earth Grocery Store.

Joseph’s sophomore year is about to begin, but his new start is a false one. At his father’s request, Joseph has moved in with his aunt and uncle to avoid the toxic environment surrounding his drug-addicted mother. But efforts to keep Joseph safe have tragic results for the family. A Heart-wrenching Story
Revisado: 10-01-22
This story is the continuation of "Joseph". Joseph is still going through a life inappropriate for a young man of his tender years, when a horrific tragedy occurs. He explains how the whole family is affected and the glorious ending that binds the family together!!! What a triumphant ending for a young man who has seen so much madness!!! I highly recommend this as a reading project for all teens.

Tough because of Mama’s addiction to drugs and alcohol. Tough because Daddy is away with the army fighting in Iraq. Tough because it looks like there is no way out once you’re living in a homeless shelter in a North Carolina ghetto neighborhood. And tough because Joseph is enrolled at yet another new school where he doesn’t know anyone and has to keep what is going on in his life a secret.

What A Heart-wrenching Story with A Good Ending!!
Revisado: 09-18-22
This is a VERY emotional insightful story of the life of a child with an addict for a mother!!! Who could fathom the changes a child in this position might go through. And this young man is constantly thinking about his mother's dignity and reputation instead of his own very existence!!! MY GOD!!! I never thought, imagined, or tried to comprehend the sacrifice a child living through this kind of situation!!! My whole perspective has changed for the WHOLE family of people facing and dealing with drug-addicted members or friends!!! We must ALL pray for EVERYONE in this situation!!! GOD HELP US because "But for the Grace of God go I"!!!!!
