I enjoyed it
Revisado: 04-28-22
Shinji Takahashi & the Mark of the Coatl is fun, interesting, adventurous, and enjoyable. Orphan Shinji Takahashi is an ordinary kid who is homeschooled and raised by his aunt and travels the world with her. When a magical guardian decides to use him as a conduit to awaken its power, Shinji’s life turns upside down. Captured by the evil Hightower Corporation, bent on using the guardian’s magic for evil, Shinji must team up with a brilliant young tech wiz named Lucy and her robot mouse to escape. Together Shinji and Lucy turn to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers to return the guardian to its rightful home and free Shinji of its magic as it drains his life force. Overall, it is filled with fun, action, adventure and magic. I enjoyed it every much. I got a The Librarians and Warehouse 13 feel, which is cool. The narrator Stephen Fu, love him. He was great.

Overall, book was okay, I enjoyed it enough but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. The ending alone left me feeling bittersweet. The narrator was great, love her. The story was fine.

Banished from the Winter Court for daring to fall in love, Prince Ash achieved the impossible and journeyed to the End of the World to earn a soul and keep his vow to always stand beside Queen Meghan of the Iron Fey. Now he faces even more incomprehensible odds. Their son, King Keirran of the Forgotten, is missing. Something more ancient than the courts of Faery and more evil than anything Ash has faced in a millennium is rising as Evenfall approaches. Series just keeps getting better
Revisado: 02-08-22
The Iron Sword is gripping, exciting, and emotional. Prince Ash was banished from the Winter Court for falling in love and accomplished the impossible by earning a soul at the End of the World to stay by Queen Meghan’s side. Now he faces an even more impossible odds as their son, King Keirran of the Forgotten is missing and something more ancient and sinister known as Evenfall is approaching. Unless Ash and his allies can stop it, the chaos that has begun to divide their world will shatter for eternity. This is one of my favorite series and it just keeps getting better. I love it so much. I was surprised by some of the funny scenes, most of them not surprised came from Puck. The idea of Evenfall and the Evenfey is interesting. The Iron Raven featured Puck and the Iron Sword featured Ash for the POV so I hope that the third book will have Meghan or maybe Nyx. Still I can’t wait for what happens next. The Iron Sword is filled with danger, shock, adventurous and emotion. Vikas Adam is pretty darn good with the voices, especially the female ones.

Not bad, good story
Revisado: 12-22-21
A Throne of Feathers & Bone is enjoyable. Full of danger, adventure, mystery, romance, secrets, truth and twists. Framed for her father’s murder, Alli is on the run from both courts. She searches for the killer as mystery adds to the madness that continues to crush the fae. She is desperate to find the door to the real Underhill before true anarchy descends on them all. I was captured from start to finish and couldn’t stop. I don’t love it but I also don’t hate it either. I just have to know what happens. The romance between Alli and Lan is no longer hinted but in full bloom and I love it. There were moments were my face was red. The characters remain great, stronger even and Ruby I was shocked. I need the next book now. Elizabeth Evans remains my favorite narrator.

Historia
Orphaned. Trained to fight. Raised to fear the power of Underhill. Secretly in love with a man who doesn’t want me. I’m still just Alli, a.k.a. the half-human orphan fae, but my life is looking up for the first time. It only took me my whole 24 years. But when Underhill - the ancestral home of the fae - shatters, making it impossible for any fae to enter, I’m the only one who knows who did it. A secret that will be the death of me if I do nothing.

Not bad, good story
Revisado: 12-20-21
A Court of Honey & Ash is interesting, different, and enjoyable. Half-human orphan fae, Alli has been training to be apart of the Seelie Court but when the ancestral home of the fae, Underhill shatters, making it impossible for any fae to enter and only Alli knows who did it. It is a secret that will be the death of her if she does nothing as a brutal madness spreads through the fea as the lose their connection to Underhill. To save her people and her only choice is to leave all that she has fought for and go on the run, unless she can figure out how magic has existed since the dawn of time was destroyed with a single touch. An entire life fighting to prove herself will mean nothing unless she finds the answer to the riddle of Underhill’s shattering as she is hunted by the man she loved long ago. It's filled with danger, adventure, mystery, and twists. I liked it. The pace was pretty good, the characters were not bad and I like the plot. I am so eager for the next book. Elizabeth Evans is my favorite narrator, she's great at bringing characters and story to life.

Wonderful Ending
Revisado: 12-13-21
Aurora’s End is emotional, gripping, amazing and beautiful. With the mission to stop the Ra’haam has failed and with squad 312 separated, they are still given another chance to save the galaxy. Zila, Fin and Scarlett are making allies and enemies while Tyler, Kal and Auri attempt to unite with two of the galaxy’s most hated villains. Some characters got more scene time than others and that’s okay. It’s time for those characters to shine. All the characters have ups and downs, pros and cons and I love them so much. I swear Magellan, I want. Kal and Auri, so happy to see that they are back together. Fin and Scarlett, never have I loved a romance developed like these two. Zila’s love interest, oh sweet Zila, so happy and a little sad but more happy than sad. Tyler and Saedii, all I can say is, oh boy. The readers did an excellent job brining the characters and story to life. Love them. Overall Aurora’s End was incredible and I can't wait to read the series again.

Really that's how it ends
Revisado: 06-24-21
Horizon is dramatic. It's filled with drama, emotion and an ending that left me feeling disappointed. Daire Santos is the last of the Soul Seekers and is the only one standing between the Richters and the destruction of everyone and thing she holds dear. With her grandmother gone and Cade’s return, Daire must fully embrace her destiny and lead the fight against the Richters, but could mean sacrificing the one person she loves most. Dace continues to struggle against the darkness growing inside of him that threatens to claim Daire. However, Daire refuses to give up on him and the choice may not be hers as an epic battle is on the horizon and the end grows near. Overall, Horizon was good. I am finally getting the chance to complete the series that I’ve been waiting to read for years and I have to say it’s not what I expected. Unlike the previous books, it didn’t take until towards the end for the main plot to take place. I didn’t care for the ending but it didn’t feel like a complete ending to me. The narrator was good but it was a little hard to know who was speaking at the time. Characters sound the same to me.

Long time wait and it's good
Revisado: 06-14-21
Mystic is dramatic, and not bad, filled with drama, magic, adventure, choices and love. Overall I liked it. I cannot tell you how long I have waited to read this book and continue to finish this series. It was slow much like the previous books, a lot of storytelling, build up and less to the plot of the story. The characters are good and Em Eldridge was likable as narrator compared to the pervious one.

Holy Saints
Revisado: 05-04-21
Rule of Wolves is amazing, gripping, thrilling and a little scary. It's filled with emotion, shock, danger, secrets, discoveries and an ending that left me with a mixture of tears. What I love most is that we get to see characters from both the Grisha and Six of Crows series again. Overall, Rule of Wolves was amazing. It took a long wait but I think it was worth it as I say it’s about time but at the same time, I am a little sad to see it end. There were a lot of emotions in this book and beware there will be tears. Definitely felt like a huge finale in a way for the Grisha Universe. Leigh Bardugo remains a great narrator for this series and ability to bring the characters to life, not to mention give a feel of the world to life.
