This story is a sleeper hit! I'm so surprised by this author I've read 2 of her books this week and they are great. I've never heard of her before now and there were good ratings but very few of them. So I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I loved both, and this one is just as good as the 1st. the narration is wonderful, the story pulls you in, i laughed a lot and when I cried I ugly cried, ugh so good! I'm always looking for this perfect balance of action, comedy, romance, and just enough depth! aka All the feels! I haven't watched TV for days because once i started Ms.Rea's books. I have one more to go but I'm hoping she's writing more because she's now on my list to follow! it would be great if she could do a series instead of these standalone novels that leave you hating to see them end!

Refreshingly Unique & relatable

This book was a great palette cleanser and a fun ride. It is a well balanced meal for you no matter what you look for in a book, a bit of: family issues & relationships, women's issues (inner conflict & outside conflicts both), humor, witty banter, mystery, adventure, suspense, the hot forest ranger love interest, a little taste of steam 🔥🌶 but not enough to make you blush. I had lukewarm expectations but I'm left with nothing but warm & fuzzies! It kept me on the edge of my seat, made me laugh, made me care about the fate of the characters and made me think about my own self image & family relationships! it's worth the credit & then some!

Ho-Ho-Holy S#$t What a Book

I was excited for this book but it so far exceeded my expectations and I loved every minute of it! It's a Christmas Story sure but it's more like a great Rom-Com that takes place during the holidays. Christmas plays a big part but the relationships and the character interactions are what is important. We all know if it's a Meghan Quinn it'll be hot 🔥 & steamy, & although it took a bit to get there once it did oooh girl did it steam! But this was the best kind of Meghan for me... the funny Meghan, that is when she really shines! When you can get this witty fun and easy back & forth between characters it takes the story to another level for me! And this she did here I loved the scenes with Atlas & Cole almost as much as the Storee & Cole scenes! Snow Daddy!!! I The Grinch lederhosen act was everything! OK Meghan what's next?

Not your average Holliday Rom-Com

This was a fun, exciting and sweet mystery rom-com with a Holiday theme! I have been looking forward to it's release but it was far better than I expected! This is a must listen/ read! You won't regret it!

Fun, sweet, and original

What an unexpected surprise this book was! It was such a good story and so well done! I loved every minute of it and hated to see it end! And the best part was that it was just supposed to be a time waster while I waited for a book in one of my series to come out, and it ended up being better than the book I was waiting for!

Virtual Voice 👎 dnf

so disappointed that virtual voice was used for this audio book. I listened to the 1st book in the series and liked it. I'd been watching my feed for awhile waiting for the 2nd audiobook to come out and was so sad to see this was how it was done. I love reading but I listen to my books when I'm too busy to sit down and read . When I heard apple was going with Virtual voice audiobooks I was glad Audible wasnt going that route....& now slowlybooks like this keep popping up! I get that it is a more economical choice for independent authors and less risk but it is just such a letdown! I hope authors see how much it takes away from their craft and go back to narrators! I will read this book at some point but I won't listen to this!

what a surprise!

I wasn't sure if this was going to be worth the read, but Julia is one of my all-time favorite narrators, so I thought I'd give it a chance.. And oh, what a ride! The book was entertaining, surprising me all over the place, and it was every bit unique. So many of the books I read and love are just cookie-cutter versions of each other, that winning formula, but this one was so very different but still had my interest throughout. I could even relate with the MC in many ways, even if our lives and stories couldn't be more different! if you're bored of the same old same thing, give this book a listen or read. I was stuck looking for a book to listen to while I'm packing to move, and it was the perfect one!

I really love this series and the audio books are fun to listen to! Overall this a nice series to read this summer! I like the writing style/ voice of the story, it's like listening to a friend tell you a stories about her crazy weekends! Buuut... as an audio book junkie who spends way too much money on books AND the audio books that go with them I have to say I find it criminal to charge the full price of an average women's fiction/ cozy mystery book for a 4 hour book! when I pay $10+ for a 9-12 hour book, 8 hrs the least it's at least reasonable, especially since I'll relisten to the good ones. But to pay $10-12 for a 4 hour listen that's ridiculous, even for a book I like! I've been trying to wait until these shorter ones go on one of my other subscription services that I pay flat fees for the month, but it sinks when I am on the next book and have to wait a month or two until it pops up again!
