In There Is a God, one of the world's preeminent atheists discloses how his commitment to "follow the argument wherever it leads" led him to a belief in God as Creator. This is a compelling and refreshingly open-minded argument that will forever change the atheism debate.

Incredible
Revisado: 11-15-24
This book is quite intellectually written… I had to purchase the soft cover to have a second look at it bc of his deep knowledge and use of scientific verbiage. Overall a fascinating read to learn how and why this master mind atheist came to embrace the simplicity of faith in The Creator of the universe or “The Divine Mind”

To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. 6Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide listeners through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God.

Great Beginning- Missed the Mark Ending
Revisado: 11-17-23
I appreciated this writer’s apologetics about the universe and it’s undeniable evidence concerning a true and intelligent Creator… Excellent work. Yet unfortunately his gospel leaves much to be desired and is found to be off the mark. With an investigation of the texts studied Hebraically, understanding the difference between Greek and Hebraic thought, and even a simple word study on the original meaning of the texts and traditions of the 1st century would go far for this writer’s interpretation of the gospel! Much has been discovered in recent years that refutes this man’s understanding of the Bible and GOD’s eternal gospel. “Who do men say that I am?” was the most important and profound question the Lord asked! The answer to that makes all the difference.
Read; “Copernicus And The Jews”, by Daniel Gruber, “Understanding The Difficult Words of Jesus” by David Bivin and “They Loved the Torah by Friedman for starters… Then (and always,) ask, seek and knock for the Spirit of Truth to lead and teach you. Then write a revised edition!

Historia
Many people will remember Eric Liddell as the Olympic gold medalist from the Academy Award-winning film Chariots of Fire. Famously, Liddell would not run on Sunday because of his strict observance of the Christian Sabbath, and so he did not compete in his signature event, the 100 meters, at the 1924 Paris Olympics. He was the greatest sprinter in the world at the time, and his choice not to run was ridiculed by the British Olympic committee, his fellow athletes, and most of the world press.

Revisado: 11-15-23
This is an intricate and detailed account of Eric Liddell’s faith, talents, bravery, brilliance and therefore… his life. The author does a marvelous job of making one feel as though your there with this Olympic champion, devoted missionary and resilient prisoner of war. This book goes way beyond what “Chariots of Fire” offered… it’s a journey in itself… well worth the walk through just to get to know, one unforgettable and profoundly unique life of a true champion!

A Remembrance Forever
Revisado: 02-05-23
Even though there are living souls that blindly state this atrocity to the Jewish nation “did not happen”… The reality of the 6 million dead souls of Hitter’s Holocaust in WW 2 testify to its reality… Even as much as the diminishing living survivors themselves. This book is incredible! It’s recording excellently done, it’s true story, is soul stirring in a way that makes the listener/reader a deeper more humble human being.

In the days and months after Pearl Harbor, the lives of Japanese Americans across the continent and Hawaii were changed forever. In this unforgettable chronicle of war-time America and the battlefields of Europe, Daniel James Brown portrays the journey of Rudy Tokiwa, Fred Shiosaki, and Kats Miho, who volunteered for the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and were deployed to France, Germany, and Italy, where they were asked to do the near impossible. Brown also tells the story of these soldiers' parents, immigrants who were forced to submit to life in concentration camps on U.S. soil.

This book, whose design is to lead the devout Bible-student into the Green Pastures of the Good Shepherd, thence to the Banqueting House of the King, and thence to the service of the Vineyard, is one of the abiding legacies of Mr. Hudson Taylor to the Church. In the power of an evident unction from the Holy One, he has been enabled herein to unfold in simplest language the deep truth of the believer's personal union with The Lord, which under symbol and imagery is the subject of The Song of Songs.

Left Out
Revisado: 11-07-21
Struggled to finish this book... What kept me going was how well the narrator Allan Robertson did!
The author bases his teachings on a false narrative that Jesus as well as his disciples and even Paul , began, practiced, preached and spread the religion of
" Christianity " ... There was NO such thing as Christianity until at least the 3rd century ! Jesus was NOT a Christian... Peter was not a Christian and most assertively Paul was not a Christian! ( " Christian" was a derogatory term used by those in the first century that didn't believe and used this term to demean believers) Were the disciples and Paul, believers that the coming Messiah had came and accomplished all that was promised ?... Yes! They all kept the Feasts of GOD as well as the Seventh Day Sabbath... Paul was a Torah Scholar... His calling was yo proclaim the good news to the gentiles.. His letters were to indivigual communities that he had taught or spent sometime in... to bring correction, explanation or encouragement. The author of this book begins with a false belief and so, although he makes some interesting statements ...his overall premise is weekend and not valid.
