Political corruption has been with us since the beginning and has not been limited to one party. Today and for the last couple of decades, the degree of corruption by top elected officials and the hypocrisy between their public pronouncements and their claims has never been greater. No wonder the ‘swamp’ fears anyone who would challenge an make known their perfidious behavior. Unless this changes we will destroy ourselves and the best form of government ever devised will cease to exist.

In this comprehensive and never challenged for accuracy book, McCarthy lays out how the Obama administration and its holdovers attempted a coup against the Trump Presidency. McCarthy in legal terms destroys the attempt to picture Trump as colluding with Russia and the false accusations of ‘obstructing’ justice. Every American should read this account prior to voting in November if they really care about how the justice Department, FBI and CIA will conduct themselves in the future.

What happened to Coben?

While the story was interesting and involved numerous characters, it was disappointing to see that that Coben has fallen on hackneyed PC themes. Contrary to history, it has always been liberals who believe in totalitarian solutions and wish to destroy the democratic process. In the USA It is they who seek to change the Constitution and enlarge the power of the Federal government and curtail individual freedoms.
