Lying narrators(not unreliable narrator)

I am familiar with the unreliable narrator, and it can be an interesting plot hook. However this has 4 main POVs, and they are all unreliable. The crazy guy and the cat sure, no surprise they are bad. However the other 2 are WAY worse!! They actively lie to the reader, not to someone in the story, not to themselves to try to convince themselves of something. They know what is/has happened 100% but they actually lie to the reader both in talking about things and in flash backs.

Bad performance, and didn't really add anything.

Monotone performance. The narrator for the main series does soo much better. A terribly emotional moment sounds exactly the high energy from an action scene. Which is really sad as this story has so much emotion behind it. Also this didn't add anything to the story at all.

Same story re-imagined over and over and over

They do a good job of capturing Deadpool, but it's the same story... over and over and over.
Deadpool is suppose to capture a puppy that is going to turn into an unstoppable killing machine... Only there's like a dozen puppies. 1st time it was fun, 2ed time abit less fun... I am 3.5 hours in and he's still doing the same thing... over and over and over. You can't just say "Deadpool" and throw in some wackiness, it might work for a 30 page comic, but it's a 6 hour book you need to at least pretend to have a story line.

Awesome book!!!

I think this is my new favorite book. I finished all 16 hours in in 2 days at normal reading speed. It's not for everyone, but if it is for you it is hilarious. It tried to kill me making me laugh so hard I nearly choked on my lunch.

I am looking forward to the next one and buying other books by the author right now.

Probably a good book, but the male narrator sucks!

Lorelei King is a great narrator I found her on this series and, I have bought books for almost no reason other than that she narrated it.

However as other's have said the male narrator leaves much to be desired. My wife was walking by and just over heard the tone of the male narrator and she asked "Are you listening to a lecture?" I responded with "Nope, fiction, this is the climactic fight." She (also a big audible and Mercy Thompson fan) said "That's a fight?" listened for a few seconds said "Hu" and wandered off. Tons of awkward pauses, a few mispronounced words, each character has the exact same monotone voice even when they are yelling.

I honestly can't say how good the story was just due to the fact that I couldn't get emerged into it due to the poor narration.

Do your self a favor and get a copy to read, skip the audible on this one.

PS I would buy it again if I could get a copy with just Lorelei King, and I won't be pre-ordering the next one till I can read the reviews to make sure they don't pull this again.
