This is the fourth book I have listened to in the Killer series and did enjoy it. First the narrators did great work and certainly are among my favorites! They bring life to the characters and emotion to their narration.

The characters are well developed and like the fact that characters from previous books also are included.
As much as I like the sexual scenes in books, I think that too many gets old at least for me. I found myself tuning out some of them. This is just me so others will disagree and that’s ok!

Ms Asher has a gift for bringing alive her characters, the emotions and the scenery. Trauma affects people differently, and this is found in this story. I like that the author shows how the trauma affects not just one person but an entire family. Gracie suffered a terrible time in her childhood and consequently her brother and sisters smothered her trying to keep her in a safe bubble.

What really bothers me in this story is a man planning out the life of the person he loves without really speaking with her and she goes along with it. Although he says he understands that she needs to have a say in her life his actions don’t speak it. It just bugged me!

If the use of the f word and other what some consider foul language, sex scenes and violence bother you, don’t listen to this story. On to the next book in the series!!

This is the third book in the series and is just as enjoyable as the first two books. The main characters are well developed. Ms. Asher’s writing style flows well, and I didn’t get lost along the way.

The journey for Keeley is about loss and trying to build trust once again. It’s a reminder of how difficult it is to rebuild and take a chance again with the heart. For Asa he is trying to be a better father to his two children and also longs for that special woman to be in his life.

There is language that will offend some and also detailed sex scenes. I am not into spanking and it might bother some people.

Jason and Kit bring the story to life! They have the appropriate emotions when needed, and I can tell who was speaking. They are both on my list of favorite narrators!

I have read many of Ms Burgoa’s books and this one did not disappoint me. She has a way of writing that brings the characters to life and makes them real.

This story is about two people that appear to be very different from each other. One is easy going and adventurous and the other uptight and is anxious about everything and needing to be perfect.

Hutch and Amber’s journey with her mother’s chicken is funny and emotional. Hutch helps bring a whole different world to Amber, and we learn that Hutch is more than he seems.

A short book for a credit but I enjoyed it!

I was wondering if we would hear Andrew’s story and was excited to read it! It was great to hear more about Hollister.

Part of this story is about healing the past and part about making a future. The characters are well developed. Gen had a past with a cheating fiancé that has left her leery of future relationships. However she is outgoing, funny, an entrepreneur and a hard worker.

Andrew is former military with PTSD in the form of nightmares. He is a solitary man but is kind.

I laughed and I cried. Brought many emotions to the surface. We all have a past. And sometimes it is difficult to heal and build a future.

The narration was great and I could usually tell who was speaking. Matt Haynes is one of my favorite narrators!

After reading the story summary and the reviews, I was unsure if I would like the story but decided to give it a go. The characters are not fully developed but I did get a picture of their past and what made them who they are today. The writing has a good flow to it.

There is a lot of sex and what some consider foul and terrible language. This didn’t bother me but want to make potential readers aware. What was unrealistic for me was the business Echo and his friends have developed. Not the actual type of business but the idea one would kill to keep it private and secret.

The book just wasn’t for me and won’t be reading more in this particular series. Having said this I am not saying this book won’t appeal to others and just might be a fun listen for you!

I thought the narration was great and for much of the time I understood who was speaking! I would definitely listen to other audible books narrated by either Tad or Lidia

The narration was stellar! Sometimes it is difficult to discern one voice from another but not the case here. I knew exactly who was speaking.

Full of action that was sometimes heart stopping. I admire Case Lee because he focuses on doing the right thing and not bowing to politics.

On to the next story!

I have listened to all three audible books in this series and have enjoyed all of them. First Phil Gigante did a great job with the voices. I could distinguish between the voices, and he did a decent job with the Irish accent.

There was mystery, some Irish lore and love. If you like paranormal, and don’t mind a story that may not seem realistic to you then this it! The Irish lore, the description of Ireland is something I really enjoyed.

This is about family, love, and trusting. And about the possibility that there is more in this world than just what we can touch and see.

When I read the summary for this audible book I wasn’t sure if it would engage me. And For the first few chapter I wasn’t sure I would finish it.

This story is about following your dreams, your passion and the hard work getting there. It’s about life changes, heartache, joy, love and loss.

The main characters were fairly well developed. There were times I thought Max was to good to be real but he is just a good guy! The writing style engaged me. Ms. Keeland would go back in time as a way to give us background on a character.

Andi and Sebastian are two of my favorite narrators and once again gave a stellar performance.

While I enjoyed this audible book I realize it isn’t for everyone. There are sex scenes and what some call foul language. This doesn’t bother me but I know that some people don’t like this in books.

First Zachary and Andi are two of my favorite narrators and they did not disappoint. They matched their tone of voice to the emotions and situation occurring at the time. For instance, there was an emotional conversation between Eli and Heather and Eli was distraught and hurting. Zachary brought life to Eli’s emotions, and I could feel Eli’s pain.

Although I admired Heather and how she cared for her sister, I also thought she was selfish in some ways and didn’t listen to her sister’s wants and needs. As the story continued I was reminded that we each grieve in our own way as well as handle difficult situations differently.

This is well written with well developed characters. I laughed, cried, snorted, raged and loved this story! I realize it might not be for everyone but it worked for me.

When I read the content summary I just wasn’t sure I wanted to read this story. I used a credit for it anyway and have no regrets in the purchase.

Several reviews stated that the storyline was to implausible. Perhaps. This story is so much more than just a storyline. It is an in-depth view of extreme loneliness, survival, love, hate, arrogance.

People see and judge based on the surface of others but not always the inner true self. This story speaks about trauma, how it affects all aspects of a person’s life. But it also speaks of resilience and hope and change.

There is some violence to humans in this book and also to animals as well.

The narration was great! The voices and tone matched the circumstances. Although this story might not work for you, it is a story I will remember for a long time!!!
