This is exactly what I was looking for. The teaching system mixes English and French in a way that lets you recognize what the French words mean. It’s more than a basic beginner level but it’s easier than the lessons that give you a paragraph at a time. Perfect pacing for upper beginners.

I LOVED THIS AUDIO!! The story is amazing and I had to buy the physical book so that I could read and slowly savor the words. It’s so beautiful but with a melancholy thread. One of my favorite books of the year for sure.

I started listening to this author with Addie Larue- LOVED IT! Then I moved on to Vicious and Vengeful, LOVE! I saw this new release and thought it sounded really good after the sample. MY GAWD I LOVED IT!!! It's a ghost story and it was a little creepy but kept me riveted. Now that I've finished listening to it, I'm buying the physical book. This author is amazing.

If you are looking for something near Archer’s Voice, this is not it. After reading so many good reviews I was hopeful that this book would be beautiful but it just wasn’t. I almost returned it and it didn’t even pick up until halfway through the book. The female MC was so insecure and her inner monologue was tiresome. Even after the 50% point the story could barely hold me. I only finished it hoping it would get better, and because I used a credit. Not worth a credit.

Simple fun story

This was a light and easy listen. No angst at all. JC's narration was perfect as always. Hathaway Lee is a new narrator to me and she was hilarious! I found myself laughing out loud so many times and I know it was because of her timing and intonation. I hope there will be more books read by her.

I was looking for a light funny romance because I love a good love story and sometimes I just don't have the energy for anything heavy. This book was so frustrating because the storyline follows what happens after the F MC tells lie after lie, after lie, after lie, after lie! She was just so weak that she could never reveal the truth to the M main character. The author is smart so why give us a whimpering, indecisive lead F? There was an HEA, which I always need, but it took so long to get there, and it wasn't fulfilling.
Side note, I love this narrator and the side characters were hilarious.
Would I recommend this book? Not if I want my friends to value my book opinions.
