A little frustrating

First off, I liked it by the end of the book. The main character's behavior was just so frustrating and juvenile, I really had a hard time getting through this first book. It was getting better by the end. It ended on a cliffhanger, so I'll have to see how the next one goes.

Another truly entertaining series by Suzanne Wright! Humor, steamy romance, gore ... I tell you, what more could one ask for? Ms. Wright never disappoints. I'm hoping she continues this series and utilizes the interesting characters she has brought to life.

This is a great inclusion into Diane Duvall's Immortal Guardians universe. I highly recommend it. I would love to see the 2nd title make it to audio, also.

But when it was over, we went our separate ways. Except, not quite. The little plus sign on this pregnancy test tells me our story isn't over. But that's a problem for another day. First, I have to go to my sister's engagement party. When I see who she's marrying, my jaw hits the floor.

The audiobook narration was great. My problem; and it is MY problem, is the angst. I had a hard time getting through the story as there was so much tension, drama, soul searching and self-sacrifice by the heroine (who I found likeable, but unlikeable, at the same time). That being said, I will read/listen to the next one because I have to know how they overcame the hurdles and complications! It had better not be a cliffhanger ... Did I mention how much I HATE cliffhangers?

Terrific story!

Love this series! The characters are very real, and I gasped in horror at the cliffhanger. Number three better come out soon. The narration was so-so. It was a little jolting when she mixed up her character's voices...just not a smooth flow, though I felt the battle scenes were well done.

I don't believe I've so thoroughly enjoyed a series this much. The writing is great and the narrator is superb. Mr Free captures Murderbot's personality and snarky sarcasm perfectly. I can't wait for the next installment!!

Since I started school at Nocturne Academy, strange happenings have befallen me. The weird key-shaped necklace I found at a flea market chokes me every time I try to take it off. Also, a tall, blindingly beautiful and bitingly sarcastic Nocturne has the lock that matches it. His name is Griffin Darkheart, and - like this freaking necklace - I can't seem to stay away from him, though he's being Censured for mysterious crimes.

Very enjoyable!

A good storyline with strong characters. Ms Anderson always does a great job! I've read some of her Kindred books and this one is very different, but just as enjoyable. Megan is a young witch, but doesn't know it. She's thrown into a supernatural academy and the discoveries she makes blows her mind! I definitely recommend this for any age.
