Historia
The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies—humans with extraordinary abilities—who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone...except the villains they once overthrew. Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice—and in Nova. But Nova's allegiance is to a villain who has the power to end them both.

Well....
Revisado: 07-09-20
To start. I love Rebecca Soler. She’s fantastic. Dan Bittner was hard to listen to. Soler did the entire Lunar Chronicles with several male characters. Not sure why they felt they needed the male/female narrator thing.
For the story. Nova’s motivations for being an Anarchist isn’t clear until near the end, and even so it still doesn’t make much sense. She’s sees that the Anarchists’ rule was complete chaos, but idolized her uncle for whatever reason. The Renegades are the ‘enemy’ and deserve to be killed because they showed up too late and could save her family? The fact that the Renegades believe they are needed to keep order for the people is problematic and needs to change, but that doesn’t feel like something that aligns with the Anarchists motives. At least it seems Nova is ignorant to that fact. She thinks what she is doing is right, when it is also very twisted.

Historia
The story is supposed to be over. Simon Snow did everything he was supposed to do. He beat the villain. He won the war. He even fell in love. Now comes the good part, right? Now comes the happily ever after.... So why can’t Simon Snow get off the couch? What he needs, according to his best friend, is a change of scenery. That’s how Simon and Penny and Baz end up in a vintage convertible, tearing across the American West. They find trouble, of course. (Dragons, vampires, skunk-headed things with shotguns.) And they get lost.

So disappointed...
Revisado: 10-03-19
I just. Don’t get it. Everything was complete crap for every single character and didn’t get better. It was completely depressing... the first book could have ended the story. The prologue hints at a third book, but I don’t like where things left off, and I’m unsure how it could be fixed...

Fantastic Finale!!
Revisado: 07-26-19
Quite a bit of this series felt really slow. There was often good chucks of each books that could have been abridged, as I would go through cycles of getting bored amidst the action and excitement. Tower of Dawn was SO unnecessarily long, and could have merged with Storm of Shadows to keep the timeline matched up. THIS book, however, kept me on my toes and invested the entire time. I’m so happy with this final book!!

Just couldn’t get into it
Revisado: 07-25-18
I tried a good 20 minutes of each story, but was unable to be pulled in. I think the voice actor wasn’t all that appropriate, as none of the ‘Disney’ versions of these stories don’t have British main characters. I think the writing may be at a young reader level, as nothing was all that descriptive or interesting about the situations, environments, etc. I’m a lover of all things Disney, but I just couldn’t make this work with the beloved films.

The narrators did a wonderful job! The Additional content really made it for me! Always love to Harare new, original writing by J.K. Rowling. Feature of Ginny and Rita was so fun. Felt genuine to the wizard into world.

Love the story; Soler has a cold...
Revisado: 08-01-17
I love these short stories to give you insight to some ‘before’ and ‘after’ the Lunar Chronicles. Rebecca Soler has been a great narrator for the series, but for the first half or more of this narration, she has an OBVIOUS cold. It’s quite distracting.

Too long and drawn out.
Revisado: 09-15-16
I have loved this series. But Sarah Maas' main flaw among all her books. Too many words. It's a great story but it's over saturated with descriptors and insignificant dialogue. I enjoyed the last 8th of the book. And now I have to wait for this dragged out adventure to continue...

SS + BP = 💖 Where to begin?!
Revisado: 08-02-16
This book was even better the second time around. I knew the direction of the story and could collect the remnants I missed the first time around.
Of course, I wish there was MORE. I'm so pleased Rainbow Rowell decided to make this book following Fangirl (also a favorite!)
A classic tale of good versus evil, but who is actually good or evil?! The lines become blurred when boy loves boy and boy notices boy back! A Harry Potter homo-erotic fan fiction triumph.
Yes, it is MEANT to depict Harry Potter. I'm not mad about it. I love it for it. A direction JK Rowling never would have taken her series, but every female reader wished it had... 😆
As a 27 year old female, I wish it was a little less...PG? Lol. Well. Regardless. I loved it. It is in the pile of books I'll read over and over again!
