I really enjoyed this book and listened to it a few times waiting for the next one to come out. I figured after the fifth or sixth re-read I should probably leave a real review. Check it out.

This book is a good litrpg where the MC understands he is making stupid choices but towards the end of the book he starts to correct them showing character development and the way the book is it opens up to city development and world development in the next book. I’m excited to see where this goes.

This book is a good start to a new series. The book starts off pretty weird but if you get past it the main issue I have is that the female for lack of a better work sidekick can only use her actual powers if the main character tells her she can.

Spoiler from something that happens within the first 20 minutes of the book**** you’ve been warned****
The MC can hypnotize the “sidekick” to where she can turn into a combat form whenever he gives a command word. Why doesn’t he just tell her whenever she wants to turn into the combat form she has to say a phrase? No idea other than maybe the author just wants the MC to feel like he is in charge of the woman. It’s a weird book because of small stuff like that but overall the style of the book, the game system used and the abilities (other than what I’ve listed) are pretty interesting. If you like the game system takes over the world and people gain special abilities style of litrpg than give this book a shot.
