I struggled to finish this and I'm not going to listen to the other books in this series. Overall it barely reached ok as there was an inkling of a plot that disintegrate into sex into sex with a stranger....unprotected sex. The AI performance was the best thing about the story and that was just ok . The plot was elementary...basically boy see girl,girl wants boy,they get together and have sex.

Yum with suspense

This book has all the major features to make it a good read, With strong characters that have been well thought out and a plot that leaves you guessing. Oh and the sexy times are slow and toe curly. Lastly but the fine point is the narration! It just takes the story to another level. 🔥 🥵

Short, but so sweet...

First off, the narration was on point. their blended voices carried the story well. Characters were strong and believable, vulnerable and strong at the right time. It was really nice to listen to a love story with with two mature adults at it center. Wish this had been a bit longer

As with all of her stories, that I have read, Kenya doesn't fail to deliver. The plot was tight and fast, with strong characters and off the chart sexy times. The narration added an additional elegance to the story that made it a joy to listen to ,making it money well spent.

Why American narrators instead of Australians?

This book is set in Australia yet the narrator's voices are anything but. To me, this demeans the story and the culture that it represents. I'm sure that there are narrators in Australia who can speak clearly enough for anyone outside of the country to understand. Trust me I have listened to other audiobooks by Australian authors who use narrators from their country and their voices completed the audio experience. So I'm giving Performance 2 stars because the narrators aren't Australian.

Great story and on point narration. Surly worth the time to enjoy it. Oh and for those who have issues about how the narrator sounds... Not all black people speak the same !

This audiobook was my first introduction to the author Theodora Taylor and was a pleasure. The narrativities were excellent and believable. Which complimented the fast moving plot in everyway.
