Historia
It’s the summer of ’77 in New York City, and the only thing more unnerving than the scorching heatwave is the rampant murder, leaving washed-up homicide detective Richard Dietrich on edge. When Dietrich investigates a brutal mob hit the brass doesn’t want him to solve, he goes from phoning it in to getting in over his head. Caught up in a mysterious second homicide with an even more perplexing perpetrator, Dietrich starts to second guess his instincts—and his memory—as he searches for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

Historia

Abbiamo così imparato come comportarci in una data società, cosa credere, cosa è bene e cosa è male, bello o brutto, giusto o sbagliato.

Historia
A former member of the State Department's Policy Planning Council, Polk describes a country and a history misunderstood by many in the West. While Iranians chafe under the yolk of their current leaders, they also have bitter memories of generations of British, Russian, and American espionage, invasion, and dominance. There are important lessons to be learned from the past, and Polk teases them out of a long and rich history and shows that it is not just now, but for decades to come that an understanding of Iran will be essential to American safety and well-being.

A Good history of Iran but…
Revisado: 02-27-23
This is an informative book about Iranian history and how it arrived at this present state.
The writer is leaning more towards the policies of the Democrats who are still to this day trying to make deals with the terrorist mullahs in Iran.
What happened to liberty for all?
There is zero liberty in Iran.

Historia
Savushun chronicles the life of a Persian family during the Allied occupation of Iran during World War II. It is set in Shiraz, a town which evokes images of Persepolis and pre-Islamic monuments, the great poets, the shrines, Sufis, and nomadic tribes within a historical web of the interests, privilege, and influence of foreign powers; corruption, incompetence, and arrogance of persons in authority; the paternalistic landowner-peasant relationship; tribalism; and the fear of famine.

A masterpiece of Iranian Literature
Revisado: 12-11-22
This story happens a century ago but it reads as if it is describing the events of today as the tyrants are still murdering the innocent People who try to save their country from falling further down into the abyss of misery that the mullahs have created in Iran.
A must read for anyone who cares about liberty and humanity.
