I first heard Alex dropping knowledge bombs on TikTok. My impression was that he’s as humble as he is knowledgeable. After listening to this book, I now see Alex for the expert he is. This book will be one that I consume over and over in multiple platforms. (Performance wise sometimes he spoke too fast and others too slow.)

There are many villains in this story but the big, hairy monsters in the room are the British press and the institution surrounding the monarchy. I’m so glad to know Meg and Harry’s truth. I know their new lives in America leave room for magic.

I. Loved. This. Book. The two main characters, Noah and Walt, are each exceptional in their own ways. The threading of jazz through the book made my boys curious about it.
My one criticism is the performance. There simply wasn’t enough of a distinction btwn Walt and Noah as read by Kwame.
