The story is great

BUT at chapter16 the audio began to cutout my device was right beside me. So it was not the problem.

Too short

This book was too short. Leaves you wanting another chapter. Thought i had it figured out, but in the end i was totally wrong.

Religion

I didn’t read the complete description of this book when I downloaded it. I would not have chosen. It’s full of religious ideas and discussions. Not unlike those that we would all likely have under the conditions they found themselves in. The end though cuts off quite abruptly. And the ideas are also very blunt. I almost ended my listen at the last chapter, it was the last chapter that goes into a very religious ideology. One I don’t share. All in all it’s an ok book, and if you are a religious person wanting a survival/ religious book, likely you’ll enjoy the book.

I liked the series

I have to reiterate I liked the books, they are good stories. What I did not like were the frequent mispronounced words. The last book takes place in North Dakota, which is where I live. I know it’s a book of fiction, but, we have like 1 murder a year in the whole state! So it’s a far reach to have several in a day is a bit much.
But they are good stories.

I don’t generally like vampire, wear wolves etc to listen to this was not pleasing. I tried but couldn’t get past it. I return the book before I was through the 1st chapter.

great book, a bit creepy.

well written ,well read. is a bit creepy though. I like mysteries and crime so this fit the bill. I almost sent it back at the beginning, am glad I didn't.

good story

the book is a good on. I find it very interesting and funny that , in the audio, is the choice to immasculate the nazi voices to sound feminine. it took me a bit to get beyond the high voices thinking how annoying it was and how bad the narrator was with voices. but the only high voces , other than women are the nazi's. then, I loved it.

I read the comments about the sound effect for inner thoughts. I did not find it distracting at all. the story was not action packed with a crescendo at the end, but a well written book, and well developed characters .
