Historia
When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

You won’t regret the listen
Revisado: 06-02-21
Okay, let me start by saying this is not a book I would normally go for. I am a huge thriller fan, but wanted something fun to listen to for a change. I am SO glad I selected this book. I wish I could give it more stars. The characters are wonderful and easy to connect with, the story is enticing and brings to light many issues in today’s society, and the narration is spot on. There is a lot of cursing (I have a strong tongue myself so it didn’t bother me) and the steaminess amps up in a few scenes, so if that bothers you I would say this is probably not the book for you. I, however, cannot say a single negative word about this book. Purchase it!! You won’t regret it.

Historia
Getting snowed in at a luxurious, rustic ski chalet high in the French Alps doesn’t sound like the worst problem in the world. Especially when there’s a breathtaking vista, a full-service chef and housekeeper, a cozy fire to keep you warm, and others to keep you company. Unless that company happens to be eight coworkers…each with something to gain, something to lose, and something to hide.

Ruth Ware Regular
Revisado: 09-22-20
Let me start off by saying I am a huge Ruth Ware fan. If I was stuck on an island and could only choose 3 things to take with me, one of her books would be among those items. Take that as you will when reading my review! I really enjoyed this book. Not as much as some of her other works, but it is definitely a good “read”! I was kept guessing on who the culprit was until the end. There are numerous endings the book could have had, and I thought the one chosen was sufficient. There were many moments when I couldn’t stop listening and others when I trekked on to get to the next chapter. I would say i was on the edge of my seat for about 75% of the book. However, I will say this is some of the best character development I’ve seen in her books so far! I was truly attached to almost every character. I was worried for them as if I knew them personally, which in a way I guess I do. I believe that is the telltale sign of a good book, being able to really get invested with the characters and understand their point of views. So would I recommend this book to you? Absolutely! I finished it yesterday and am still thinking of the twist and turns and trying to think what I would do if I were point in a situation such as the one in this novel. Definitely worth the purchase!!

In this compulsively listenable tale of secrets, lies, and deception, Gilly Macmillan explores the darkest impulses and desires of the human heart. Diabolically clever, The Nanny reminds us that sometimes the truth hurts so much you’d rather hear the lie.

Highly Recommend
Revisado: 08-19-20
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I have a love for murder mysteries that keep you guessing, and this book did the trick! One moment I thought I had figured it out, the next minute I was confused and rethinking my logic. I liked the story being told from different view points which I normally try to avoid. This aspect made me see different perspectives and made the ending even more surprising. I would definitely recommend this audio book to those who loves a good murder mystery that keeps you on your toes!
