Anya merchant once more hits it out of the park. Just the right amount of anticipation combined with fantastically well written scenes. Definitely draws you in and immerses you alot better than many other authors in this genre. Edge lord, but also big payoff that makes it so worth the listen. I'll be buying the next audio book for sure.

a fantastic continuation of the series. characters have depth and r dynamic. And the author truly excels at keeping that hot tension stoking higher and higher, and leaving u hungry for more.
hurry up and get book 3 narrated, author. I'm eagerly waiting for the opportunity to give u more of my $.

fantastic audio book of the series

For Those who have read the series, I can tell u that the narrator's 100% deliver in their performance. For those who haven't? Its a litrpg isekai Thats HEAVY on the explicit scenes. That said, it's done in a very entertaining and enjoyable manner. The characters are all quite unique and loads of fun. The main character is utterly up front regarding his personal flaws, and basically has a position of "u can take it or leave it, I don't care". There is plenty of world building, levelling, and comedic misinterperetations. I highly recommend this audio book and look forward to the next one. The narrator's just did a fantastic job, and I may even like them more than the pair who usually do Logan Jacobs and Eric valls stuff, tho it's possible that has more to do with the newness

lots of hot action combined with complex moral and psychological growth. this book is the whole package. and the narrator pulls it off beautifully. can't wait for the next one.

an interesting addition to haremlit genre

this isn't quite a gamelit, but there ARE elements of it. it isn't quite ghost in the shell, but there are similar themes.
the pacing can b a bit squidgy, but it's also kind of what the author is trying to explore. like, at a certain level of technological advancement, how we live and view life just isn't the same perspective as what we currently have.
the MC has determination, but how do u express that determination when people don't even have to workout anymore? they just punch a setting in their sleep pods, and they wake up with their bodies having gotten the benefits of whatever level workout they set AND a full night of rest and recovery (all without having to have been conscious to endure the rigors of said workout).
how do u motivate someone, and what sort of objectives could they want to seek?
then, u take technology and additional step further,..

this isnt a standard harem lit. its a little different, but not in a bad way. sometimes it seems a little unfocused, but with our society already experiencing short attention span epidemics from the availabiliy of instantly gratifying streaming services and 2day amazon prime delivery, you can kinda see how a few centuries of further tech development would expand on that.
this won't be for everyone, but it is an enjoyable read, and a good start on a foundation for a promising new series.

for harem gamelit fans, let me run this by you. we've all designed a custom character in video games b4, pushing the slider up or down on different features depending on preferences (hey, if I'm going to be watching my mostly nude ARK character running around, I'm gonna make her pleasant to look at). ok, what if u had technology that could let u do that in real life. except u can change the sliders on those features with fair regularity, instead of just the one time.
contemplate the implications there.

An awesome addition to gamelit, and survivor genre

An excellent addition to the gamelit genre, especially for fans of the game "Ark". Gamers, imagine if your Ark player character was a real person, and u were reading a story based on his adventures, and u will be pretty close to this book.

Those weird mechanics that u thot about while playing Ark?
Yep. These characters run into them and probably wonder the same things u did about them. Like the question of why food spoils over time in ur inventory, but a torch is still lit and ready to go the moment u pull it out?

And, of course, that thing every ark player hates: spending loads of time slowly building up ur new settlement from nothing, only to suddenly get raided and lose everything to another larger and much more advanced tribe.

Great book. Great narration. Great story. I highly recommend it to any reader, whether u r already an avid fan or r new to both gamelit genre and Ark, this book will appeal to most anyone. Fans of Ark will probably find extra relatable tho.

4th book and still going strong. The author once more delivers everything u could want in a dungeon core and litrpg novel, along with all the other things u need for good stories in general (like a hook, enjoyable characters, progression, etc...). The narrator also continues to do a fantastic job. For those who have already listened to the first 3, book 4 does not dissappoint. And if u thought the end of book 3 left you with ur jaws dropped, just u wait till you get to book 4s end.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of dungeon core and litrpg/gamelit.
