Historia
Diana Gabaldon's fans will be delighted to find Jamie and Claire as spirited and endearing as ever in this fourth installment of this magnificent saga. Twice Claire has used an ancient stone circle to travel back to the 18th century. The first time she found love with a Scottish warrior but had to return to the 1940s to save their unborn child. The second time she reunited with her lost love but had to leave behind the daughter that he would never see. Now Brianna, from her 1960s vantage point, has found a disturbing obituary and will risk everything in an attempt to change history.

Historia
Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife, Claire, that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But fighting for the eventual winner is no guarantee of safety. And worse still, the possibility of pointing a weapon at his own son - a young officer in the British army - haunts Jamie's every thought.

Diana, you are my hero
Revisado: 08-15-12
What did you love best about An Echo in the Bone?
It is classic Diana Gabaldon, the writing is exquisite. The characters are richly developed. The story is engaging, funny, suspenseful, steamy, deep.
What did you like best about this story?
The gorgeous writing. No one does words like Diana.
Which character – as performed by Davina Porter – was your favorite?
Claire. Davina is Claire. Hands down. And she has the ability to be each character so flawlessly. Davina Porter is the best narrator of any audiobook I have ever listened to.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
It better be as good as the book, or you will have a big ol mess of angry fans knocking on your door. With pick axes.

Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

Historia
It is not long before the survivors, outlaws, renegades, and carrion eaters start to gather, picking over the bones of the dead and fighting for the spoils of the soon-to-be dead. Now in the Seven Kingdoms, as the human crows assemble over a banquet of ashes, daring new plots and dangerous new alliances are formed, while surprising faces, some familiar, others only just appearing, are seen emerging from an ominous twilight of past struggles and chaos to take up the challenges ahead.

Talk about a thriller
Revisado: 08-15-12
What made the experience of listening to A Feast for Crows the most enjoyable?
Not knowing what will happen next.
What other book might you compare A Feast for Crows to and why?
None. Mr. Martin's willingness to write wherever the story takes him is awesome, and terrifying. No other author I have read would take the risks he takes with his characters.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me afraid to turn the next page. I found myself saying, "Why Mr. Martin...Why/"
