Historia
Riverside Close is a picture-perfect community. The six exclusive and attractive houses are tucked far away from the noise and grime of city life, allowing the residents to enjoy beautiful gardens, pleasant birdsong, and tranquility from behind the security of a locked gate. It is the perfect idyll, until the Kentworthy family arrives, with their four giant, gas-guzzling cars, gaggle of shrieking children, and plans for a garish swimming pool in the backyard. Obvious outsiders, the Kentworthys do not belong in Riverside Close, and quickly offend every last one of the neighbors.

Best yet!

I've read all books in this series and love them. Horowitz proves once again a master of murder mystery. With this novel, he takes readers on another puzzling adventure with some favorite characters. This is my favorite so far, and I thoroughly enjoyed the post-modern twists.

Enjoyed David's narration, jokes, takes on some English kings and queens. This is a witty and raucous ride through swaths of British history. I relished it and found it totally mesmerizing.

Historia
Alan returns to podcasting, offering his unique perspective on life’s big questions, the hot-button issues of the day, his professional successes and the most intimate details of his personal life in a series he is already calling ‘seminal’. The second series will come partly from the oasthouse—in order to satisfy people who'd rather he didn’t mess with the format—and partly from other locations—to appeal to those who found the original format a bit limiting.

Enjoyed every minute listening to Steve Coogan play Alan Partridge. Why? I'm a fan of Alan's, and there's simply no humor out there like Alan's. Unbeatable. Love it!

A page turner!
Revisado: 12-16-21
This is a fast-paced, gripping thriller mystery which I thoroughly enjoyed. I just couldn't stop listening. The narrator does a superb job. I was compelled to continue listening by the background story which you learn in the beginning, along with several cleverly timed twists and turns. I love that I was able to find a terrific free listen on Audible! Don't skip over this because it's free; if you enjoy detective fiction or mysteries, you'll love this title. A memorable story, well told--what more could you want on a cozy winter's eve?

Narrator needs to work on her craft or maybe just don't narrate anymore books. She sounds like she's reading superfast. Also, this author uses too much "tell" and not enough "show.". Disappointing .

Historia
As a boy, William Bellman commits one small, cruel act: killing a bird with his slingshot. Little does he know the unforeseen and terrible consequences of the deed, which is soon forgotten amidst the riot of boyhood games. By the time he is grown, with a wife and children of his own, William seems to be a man blessed by fortune - until tragedy strikes and the stranger in black comes. Desperate to save the one precious thing he has left, William enters into a rather strange bargain, with an even stranger partner, to found a decidedly macabre business.

Historia
In this stunning audiobook, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of "outliers" - the best and the brightest, the most famous, and the most successful. He asks the question: What makes high-achievers different? His answer is that we pay too much attention to what successful people are like, and too little attention to where they are from: That is, their culture, their family, their generation, and the idiosyncratic experiences of their upbringing.
