Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

When therapy becomes the PROBLEM
Revisado: 06-30-17
Ester seems to miss the big picture.
1. She ignores the defective character traits in the husband. Which IS the problem.
* life with 3 young kids is hard. Husband made the choice that his pleasure was more important than commitment to his family.
* the wife has no responsibility for his choices.
2. Ester ignores and discounts the wife.
* if Ester would take a step back and look at the real problem (lack of character in the husband / his lack of honesty) then she would be less likely to discount, question and counter the wife. (essentially shutting down the wife)
* the husband has a track record of being selfish and dishonest. By pressuring the wife to believe something different, Ester is teaching the husband how to manipulate and teaching the wife to doubt herself.
3. This is an extremely destructive form of couples counseling which encourages the husband to feel entitled and places the blame onto the victim.
& looking for outside problems that lead to the infidelity takes the focus away from the fact that husband chose to betray.
* life is hard, Ester subtly validates the husbands bad choices and blames the wife. Leading to an increasing irresponsible and entitled husband and an overly responsibile wife who walks on eggshells to try to keep her husband happy so he won't cheat again. (this is similar to abuse cycle)
* Character development is key to healthy healing. None of the stories about who did what or the why's matter.
