kinda emotionless narrator..i liked him in scars novels but here not much..left me cold entire time

Space Sharks rock!

This was an awesome listen and does a fantastic job at describing the Carcharadons and their way of warfare, the Night Lords make for an interesting opponent for them to face also. The narrator also knocked it out of the park, if you want an enthralling Carcharadons story, this is it!

Space Sharks in action!

This was an amazing story, the way that the Carcharadons conduct themselves is very unique compared to other Astartes and this made for a very interesting tale. The Drukhari make for a great enemy and an excellent matchup for the Carcharadons, there’s action, mystery, and some very heartwarming moments. Pick this up for a change of pace from the normal Space Marine books.

Cain the man delivers again!

Another glorious action-packed story in the Cain saga that continues to carry on the stellar narrative of the Commissar with common sense! If you’ve enjoyed the previous Cain novels I would highly recommend this one, not a single drop in quality in my opinion and the narration of Stephen Perring is still perfect for the role. The other narrators deliver just as well but with Perring doing most of the reading it’s his voice that I remember most. An outstanding 40k novel I’d recommend to anyone!
