I bought this book when it was first published. It has been on my shelf of "favorite re-reads". I agree with the two other reviewers, Empress Karen and B.A.G, Rosalyn Landor isn't one of my favorite narrators but after I sped the audio speed to 115, I relaxed and let Kathleen E. Woodiwiss written words take me into her story. I do recommend listening to this audio book. Enjoy 😊
Now AUDIBLE needs to get ALL of Judith McKnight 's books on audiobooks. Unabridged of course!

Ms Pam Godwin and the narrator Roxy Isles are first for me. I really enjoyed listening to Ms. Isles' performance. I got lost in the story from the very first chapter.
If you like strong and tough women heroines and Pirates, you'll enjoy this credit worthy audiobook. Enjoy😊!!

Bible thumper!

I dkf audiobook. I have never liked listening to books about the Bible and God unless it was in Sunday school or a sermon in my church.
One review said this was a "nice" audiobook because it didn't have sex. I wished they would have said it was about the author's view of their beliefs in the Bible. I believe in God but I do NOT want to listen to it, period! I returned this audiobook.

I am happy that Ms. Garwood has returned to writing and continuing the Buchanan family series. Thank you, from a big fan!
I really enjoyed listening to Samantha Brentmoor's performance! I will look forward to hearing more from this narrator.

ok but cliffhanger

This is my first of Marsha Canham's stories. The story is mostly of conflict/angst between H&H. That got old quickly. And with 2 hours left in the book, I knew this was going to be a cliffhanger! I won't be getting #2 in this series.
As for the narrator, I've listened to her before, that's one reason I got this book. But her male and female characters all sound alike. 😬

I normally like Meghan Quinn, BUT this story was predictable and dumb. It did have some funny scenes but not enough. And Winnie, smh, young. And Pacey needs anger management. The narrators gave an excellent performance. I had a difficult time finishing. 😥

Both the author and narrator are new to me. I really enjoyed this audiobook. And J. Rodney Turner performance was spot on. I will be listening to more stories from this author and narrator. Totally worth the credit. Enjoy! ☺️🤠
