An audio Bible with study notes!

While I would never dream of critiquing the content of the Divinely Inspired Word of GOD, I can attest to the sanctifying power of the Breathe of GOD through His Word in my life - and on a daily basis!

The daily Bible arranged with portions of the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs, followed by John MacArthur's study notes is an amazing way to hear the Word and receive some welcome assistance with context.

For someone like me who loves to read along every morning - the only thing that would be better for me is if the accompanying print version of this Bible would be in a much larger font. Yes, it would make this Bible larger and heavier. But isn't that what an extra pillow to prop up a book in one's lap is for :-)?

Comprehensive! Sound!

As we approach the return of Christ Jesus the LORD, this book is especially timely.

Especially thankful am I that LTC. Robert Maginnis took the time to research and write this book!

While - for multiple reasons - I prefer listening to a book recorded by a human voice (especially, by the author or by anyone with warm and cultured London accent). I also prefer a real voice because real people need real work!

Notwithstanding, I am exceedingly GRATEFUL that this title, along with "Old Earth Creationism on Trial," is available on Audible! These are very important topics that few seem willing to even broach.

And yes, the use of the virtual voice translation meant there were mispronounced words. But if one is familiar with the Bible, one will know exactly what is intended. That there were mispronounced words was not an obstacle for me.

Personally, the fact that this book is available as an audiobook by far overshadows the irregularities of the verbal errors made by the virtual translation process.

This is one of those books that I purchased in both audio and in paper form.

Was hoping to discover that "Nearing Midnight" was available on Audible.

After watching this interview exchange with Gary Stearman and Terry James on the Prophecy Watchers, I was hoping to find the latest book by Terry James, "Nearing Midnight" on Audible. I will check back again soon.

Helpful for all who read the entire Bible!

This book should be gifted to all new Christians along with every gifted Bible.
To avoid reading the Old Testament is a mistake. To avoid reading the entire Bible is an even greater mistake. Dr. Ken Johnson clears away much of the confusion. - not only with this book. While there is no substitute for prayerfully reading an authentically translated version of the holy Scriptures, I have read and/or listened to many of Dr. Johnson's books and have greatly benefited by so doing.

This commentary is touching, insightful, and inspirational.

While there is no substitute for Bible reading - or for praying and asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit before reading the Bible (or listening to a Bible commentary), this Matthew Henry Commentary is a true help. I am so thankful to have been granted the grace to find it, to listen to it, and to be inspired by it.

The beautiful, crystal clear ring of Truth!

Ever since I heard an audio version of this sermon (on a CD), I have been granted the grace to revisit it on many occasions. It is always a blessing to hear the unmistakable, beautiful, crystal clear ring of Truth!
