This is pretty much everything that I was looking for. An urban fantasy setting that plays to the world being more than a little different after they groups in hiding show themselves to humans. The characters don't feel stock and more like individuals as the MC makes his way through the story in what feels like anyway that he can as he looks to make enough to stay afloat. The unique magic and world that is built up is enjoyable to listen to and learn about.

Wonderful! This is a great series with enough twists and runs to keep you enthralled. Mr. Knightley does an amazing job of keeping each of the characters distinct that it creates a tapestry of interest and intrigue that should span throughout the series and offer a satisfying conclusion when it happens. (As it does in all of his literary works)

These two magnificent authors do it again! Hitting it out of the park with another novel worthy of anyone's library. The chemistry of the two lead characters is an adorable and heartwarming take on the theme of enemies to lovers that has left me eager to see where they will go next.

Wonderfully done

This is a wonderful book with an in-depth world and cast of characters that support the story that is driven by a main character that is far from perfect as they try and make the most of their situation. There are a few touching moments with the end being somewhat of a sucker punch that left me eagerly awaiting the next instalment.

I love this series, it's comforting. This new instalment brings a significant amount of trails coming together, leaving the reader with a deeper appreciation for a bunch of notables for the world this far. However, this does feel like the darkness before a new dawn. There are several moments that may be rough for some to get though, but it does come back up and many of the characters find resolutions, even if it hurts.
