Not a bad story unfortunately this writer cannot fight the temptation to put his politics in. Cringy when he does but it’s wasn’t to often so I could get by the political crap, barely.

Not written well

Story has too many holes and non connecting leads. Things thrown in that don’t make sense. Unbelievable dialogue and reactions to situations. Wanted to like this series, but it’s just ridiculous in too many places.

If you looking for an actual storyline or and adventure, this ain’t it. This is just a man making a very descriptive tale of feelings and emotions experienced during the aftermath of an epidemic apocalypse.

Too much

The author seems to go out of her way to give you a sob story in every chapter. Some over the top emotional dying scene or rescue scene. just to dang much. Nothing gained by ready this book.

A bit slow

MC is ok but basically just what he says he is, a fighting tool. Female MC was an irritating witch. Story line wasn’t that interesting.

Great story and characters!

Starts out a little slow but soon gets you into an amazing story. At times you’ll really dislike Lazlo, and shake your head at Maggie’s believing the demon’s lies, but you can’t help being enraptured in the tale. Demons, magic, churches, it’s all in there creating a terrific read. Hoping for sequels with this one!!!

I’m not even sure what that was all about.

It seemed the story was all over the place with all these different characters and more of a fiction rather than a mystery. I continued to read only because I couldn’t figure out what the dang thing was about. A bunch of different crazy people trying to find the Holy Grail. The two main characters just seemed odd.

The way the MC acts toward someone who outranks her is unbelievable. No way that would ever happen.

MC’s aren’t that interesting

MC man is a soft dude playing at being tough because he’s bulked up (apparently his biceps are the same size as one of his tiny female ‘acquaintances’ 23 inch waist). He’s merely eye candy for women (and some males) supposedly tough but doesn’t seem quite that smart. The woman MC of course is sexy, smart and baddass seemingly a level above her brutish male wanna be tough partner. Both are annoying.
