Historia
Even before the doomed mission to Hadley’s Hope on LV-426, Jenette Vasquez had to fight to survive. Born to an immigrant family with a long military tradition, she looked up to the stars, but life pulled her back down to Earth—first into a street gang, then prison. The Colonial Marines proved to be Vasquez’s way out—a way that forced her to give up her twin children. Raised by Jenette’s sister, those children, Leticia and Ramon, had to discover their own ways to survive.

2 stories, a tad teen-romance, but great xeno plot
Revisado: 04-07-23
disclaimer: you only get a few chapters of Jeanette Vasquez's USMC journey before a brief look into her last battle on LV-426, then the story immediately pivots to her offspring twins, who each play a pivotal role in the USMC & WeyYu.
At first, i felt cheated by the title, and having to spend quite a bit of time with some teenage romance and growing pains that i did not sign up for.
But as the 2 Vasquez Main Characters grew into their almost yin & yang roles, and a new xeno/WY story unfolded, i began to eat it up.
There are some really cool battles and horrifying Queen moments with a pretty decent storyline that i can tell was made to include a younger generation than this fan of Cameron's '86 classic story was originally prepared for, but as a whole i think the story is pretty solid and also fills in some WY world building and expansion.

essential therapy!
Revisado: 07-29-21
most helpful book EVER on relationships and self-examination, not just for polyamory at all, but how we carry baggage from our childhood and unknowingly impact ALL our adult relationships.
Jessica Fern has likely saved thousands of marriages and sibling relationships since the pandemic!

Danny Boyle saved Irvine Welsh's story
Revisado: 05-15-19
poorly-paced but mildly entertaining. Danny Boyle did Welsh a huge favor by restructuring this aimless calamity into an actual sequel, with addictive weavings of several sub-plots that culminate in a grand finale.
