The story was another great tale elevated by a great narrator. I really don’t know what else to say. If you liked the others, you’ll love the grind of our MC and her new, old friend of Violence.

The story of Moonstone Path is a bit of a slow burn to start, but the character growth is natural and it was well worth the credit

Originally, I read this as individual short stories. I fell in love with the stories then, and hearing them fleshed out and recorded was a lot of fun.

Because of the nature of the first stories, I agree it isn't your typical first book, but the stories weave together well and even if it says you can skip the first book if you've read the short stories, I recommend listening to them. Jackie is great at what they do, and their voice only adds to the characters.

A fun time. Well worth the credit.

If you've made it this far in the series, you know what you're in for. The story continues to progress the story from book nine with a few interesting twists and the slow growth of the characters. Jason, as always, is snarky and fun, but growing as a character from where he began.

I particularly enjoyed learning more about how the gods are different from the Astral Beings and how their differences truly effect their impact.

The pace could have been picked up, but as an over all, I enjoyed the story quite a bit.

Leveling up the World by L. Eclaire has been a fun ride up to this point. It's a good mix of action, slice of life, and mystery. With the festival drawing near and the chaos that comes with big secrets being spilled, what more could you ask for except the fourth one to come that much sooner?

Jack is an excellent narrator for this story, and I can't wait to see the next one arrive.

First off, this was received for free in a contest from the publisher. A review was not required, but I’m doing it anyways.

Book four of Dungeon Core Online has from great moments, some funny, some powerful, some heart wrenching. For the most part, it’s a peasant change of low stakes fun after so much build up and dread. James gets to enjoy his dungeon building, time with his friends, and no real serious issues except within the confines of the game as he continues to grow closer to those around him. Before the final book, Five

Narrator was great as Travis is always excellent, story was fun, and that’s all that really matters. Love the new classes and monsters.

First thing I want to get out of the way due to confusion the cover caused in my reading group once selected: This is not a romance story or smutty in any way.

That done, this story was a fun, slice of life, fantasy read/listen. It’s got a wild start and a few wtf moments but is fun. Enjoyed the narrator as well, she lent the perfect voice to our female MC Kadia.

If you enjoyed Divine Apostasy to this point, you'll still enjoy it. It's a lot more of the same with a few plot threads being wrapped up nicely. As always, Travis is a delight to listen to, and A.F. Kay's world is a complex story with enough intrigue and mystery to boggle the mind. Together, they are a wonderful team.

I look forward to the eighth entry and will enjoy listening to Hama's side story next.

All the Skills by Honour Rae is one of the most fun books I've read about dragon riding. I would easily place this up there with the feeling I got reading the Dragonriders of Pern and Eragon.

In a world where magic is formed from cards, Scourge scour the land of life, and dragons fight for the world, it's hard not to like it. However, the start is a bit rough. Our MC starts off at the age of 12 and we see through his eyes how rough the world can be. As he grows, we grow with him and learn more about the world that his sheltered life has kept from him.

I eagerly await the next book as I catch up on my audible library. Great job, Luke and Honour!

I really enjoyed this entry to the series. It's been a while since it's come out, and only now have gotten to it. The return to the dungeon after book one has its ups and downs. Without spoilers, we learn quite a bit more about the dungeon and it's 'personality.' We learn about the politics of the City, its people, and the mysterious High Houses that run the majority of things.

There were a few parts that didn't hit right for me. The biggest isn't anyone's fault, however. Allen Shoff was a good narrator, so the blame is not on him for it. As always, a change in narrator from one you enjoyed a lot never quite sounds right. for the characters once a voice has been established. He grew on me, but it was never the same.

As for the story itself, there were a lot of politics with the powers that be and we learned a lot about the City as I said before, but it felt like some of those parts took away from the dungeon aspects, which really drew me in the first time. I missed them, but the meetings were important to the story. The story's heart, its characters, made up for everything else. Alex and company were still the driving force of my enjoyment, and with a promised third book coming, I look forward to seeing what Mr. Schmidt has to offer us in the Deepest Core.
