Good but not my style

Definitely not my cup of tea. Stated out okay, but there was no plot or story to follow. I like that Roxy was a strong character but unfortunately she was too unrealistic. Also, the male narrator was difficult to understand. I had to listen to some of the chapters two or three times over because I couldn't follow or understand. You might be better off buying the hard copy and reading it yourself. The female narrator was the only reason I actually finished this book.

Great story!

Wow! Great story! Very detailed and full of excitement. I can picture the characters clearly and it's easy to loose track of time since each chapter is full of suspense. I'm a visual person so I totally went online to check out Pinterest to see if there were pictures or drawings of the characters just to get a more vivid idea of the story and found some great portraits to go along with the story. Both Poppy and Hawke make such a kick-ass team! I love fact that she is a strong character. I can't stand characters that cry or are to gentle and won't get their hands dirty. She is not afraid even if she knows she is outnumbered or knows she is going to loose. I'm looking forward to the next book!

I really enjoyed this story. It's a great flip of the traditional Red Ridding Hood. I loved the tenderness and the openness of the characters.
