Loved the start with mind body connection themes. All the technology meant nothing once everyone was just stuck in the present future. Aliens and other planets was not what I was expecting.

Not even a casual Star Wars fan and decided to start trying to learn about the galaxy. Loved the presentation of this book with the voices and background music and sound effects. Hoping other titles have the same production value.

Hopefully this is forever a work of fiction. The possible truth of it becoming a reality can leave you wishing you hadn’t listened to the book. Read/listen at your own risk.

I love this series. Listening to fictional baseball radio to fall asleep is something I didn’t know I needed. I have to keep a 30 minute timer to not get too attached to a game if I can’t fall asleep.

The entire broadcast is what is great: pregame, silence between pitches, commercials, random background noise. But it’s all monotone like nothing is exciting. Perfect to drift off in bed.

Looking forward to what’s coming next year.

There wasn't much to this book that hasn't already been discussed in other books, talk shows, podcasts, and other media. Maybe it was because the Astros actually won the World Series that they got so much coverage, but the recap of transactions over the years became tiresome. Maybe I expected too much from this publication; multiple references to Moneyball seemed to show what was an influence for Astroball. Better baseball books are out there. Unless you're an Astros fan or diehard baseball book lover, I wouldn't recommend this.

This is both a great baseball story and a great memoir. There are few parts hard to get through (although if you aren't a Giants, Cubs, or Dodgers fan there might be). Colletti has interesting anecdotes that will pique the interest of baseball lovers and entertain the casual fan. He name drops constantly and has the life experience to fathom both young and old baseball enthusiasts.

Steve Young played a little before I followed football on a regular basis, and I thought I knew a decent amount him. Turns out I knew little about his career and nothing about him as a person.

Insightful and interesting biography. A LOT of game recap adds hours to the length, but it always seems to be relevant to an anecdote before or after.

Nice performance by the reader. Sounds like a tone of voice similar to Steve Young.

Like the topic of American players touring in Japan. Too much game play details and recaps, but the information was adequate. The Japanese war history didn't keep my attention. Favorite part was the recurring mention of Moe Berg and his alleged involvement spying for the US.

Overall I enjoyed the audio book. There was a change in content between informational dialogue and stories that supported the content. Each chapter focused on a different type of questioning, although it was hard to gain a clear grasp of the concepts without further examples.

The legacy chapter was the most intriguing and provoked the most thought. The author talks with his dying mother and interviews her albeit avoiding harder questions that he wishes he would have discussed.

Enlightening book about the power of questions and the ability to progress by asking the right questions.

I should have figured there would be a lot about the World Series, but there was way too much game recaps for me. It would have been just as easy to watch the television replays online and get the same information. Much of the book also seems to be about the Red Sox. Granted, Theo Epstein made a mark in Boston, but the author spends a lot of time dissecting decisions and how they affected the Red Sox, which doesn't always involve the future Cubs.

The positives are the breakdown of the roster and how practically every player was acquired. Some players received more attention than others (Rizzo, Bryant, Arrieta) My personal favorite was the discussion about Joe Maddon. He should have his own biography. There was a lot of team-building discussion, which is what I thought of from the title of the book.

The negatives I already touched on, but every World Series game has its own chapter. If you watched the games you already know what happened. It can be difficult to pay attention to the narrator talk about the circumstances of the innings, runners on base, defensive alignment, bullpen pitching and potential matchups, and player and manager reactions to every aspect of every pitch. I've watched plenty of baseball, and I would rather hear someone analyze what happened rather than tell me what is happening.

Overall a good book. It ends rather quickly because after the parade, that's it. There's no breakdown of the potential future or longevity of the team other than Maddon's quote about how young the team is. It definitely drags out issues with Epstein and the Red Sox and doesn't always seem focused on the topic of the book. No coincidence it was written and released very quickly after the World Series victory, but it definitely caters to Cubs fans more than a general baseball fan.
