Great Book!

Written and narrated beautifully. I’m afraid that the events and stories themselves are a bit underwhelming

Historia
A groundbreaking work of science fiction, The Left Hand of Darkness tells the story of a lone human emissary to Winter, an alien world whose inhabitants can change their gender. His goal is to facilitate Winter's inclusion in a growing intergalactic civilization. But to do so he must bridge the gulf between his own views and those of the completely dissimilar culture that he encounters. Embracing the aspects of psychology, society, and human emotion on an alien world, The Left Hand of Darkness stands as a landmark achievement.

Historia
The Roman Republic was the most remarkable state in history. What began as a small community of peasants camped among marshes and hills ended up ruling the known world. Rubicon paints a vivid portrait of the Republic at the climax of its greatness: the same greatness which would herald the catastrophe of its fall.

Good story, too fast
Revisado: 03-19-18
Amazing story in itself, but I found the book too fast and not been able to follow it as well as other history books I've listened to

Historia
In the spring of 1939, a top-secret organization was founded in London: Its purpose was to plot the destruction of Hitler's war machine through spectacular acts of sabotage. The guerrilla campaign that followed was every bit as extraordinary as the six men who directed it. One of them, Cecil Clarke, was a maverick engineer who had spent the 1930s inventing futuristic caravans. Now his talents were put to more devious use: He built the dirty bomb used to assassinate Hitler's favorite, Reinhard Heydrich.

Amazing read

Interesting, thrilling and inspiring.
I enjoyed the narration of the author. Describing with the same vigor and enthusiasm the battles against the Nazis, and the british bureaucrats.
