However, the narration leaves alot to be desired.

So this is the beginning of Jon's mysteries, which I have loved since they came out and having already bought the audio for the rest of the series, I was hesitant because of the change of narrators.

I was right to be worried. It took me forever to finish this just because of how the voices sounded throughout the book.

Now some people will be like "who cares about the narrator, just focus on the story" and I would like to point out that this is an audiobook, the narration can make or break the enjoyment of it

Now that I got all that out, I still love Jon and Donovan and I hope that by buying this series in audio it will make Mack's series be released as well

My title seems dramatic but stay with me here

I know that Bella is a child with a child's mind, but I was done with her by the mid mark.

I think it was more how this was written that got me.

For example, if there was be a conversation between her parents but each line was followed by Mom said, Daddo said, etc. This was really bad if there was an argument.

It might have even been the way the child was made to sound. I'm guessing ai was used to make the narrator sound like a kid

All that though would have been livable if this was scary and had a better ending.

Nothing really happened until the end, nothing really scary happened until the end, and once again Josh wrote a story with an ending that did not really have an ending.

All in all, this was middling.

This is a very short story about two dingbats who are best friends and also love each other but never actually talk to each other hence the story about them. I cannot say more or it will spoil the book, as it's that short.

Joel as always did a great job with this one.

I would like to start with the fact that the narrator was so good that he got me to the end of this seemingly endless story. Christopher Lane was wonderful.

Now onto the story, so one day Ben, a dude who lived in the suburbs with his wife and kids goes on a hike while on a business trip. Then some really weird things happen.

I will not go into more details here to not spoil it, but let me say that the beginning and part of the end was really good. The middle 75% could have been cut.

I get what this was supposed to portray but it didn't do a good job.

Having read this with my eyes, I knew how the story was going to play out, but even still, I enjoyed this one.

This starts with a meet cute in the plumbing aisle and ends with Brennan learning that depending on someone is ok sometimes.

Kirt did a great job with all the voices except for Ryder's, but it wasn't enough to take me out of the story.

I honestly didn't have a lot of expectations going into this, I saw the title and just jumped in.

The story is basically about a campaign in Minecraft. If you don't know what Minecraft is, then you definitely chose the wrong book.

This is oversimplified in it's message but if your kids like the game, then this will be enjoyable for them.

Luke Daniels narrated this well, though some parts were a little rough, but I'm kind of thinking it was the writing more than an issue with the narration.

Ok, full honesty here, I have read with my eyes and ears every single book and short story set in this universe multiple times. One can say I'm a bit of a fan so when I saw that the audios were combined in the correct read order, I of course had to buy it, even though I own each title separately. And boy did I enjoy it. All 22 hours of it.

This one starts with Sweet Nothings, which is my ultimate favorite of this world cause I love Sam and the kids.

Then you get all the short and sweet stories featuring them.

It then moves on to the first Chosen One story, All or Nothing.

Which then turns into the second book, Nothing Ventured.

I still love Sam the most even after all these rereadings and hope y'all love him as well.

One thing to mention, you really need to follow the reading order for this magnificent but really huge world. Having the bundles makes doing that so much easier.

Also, I'm not sure these would be so good without it being narrated by Michael Dean. I love his voice and he does these characters really well.

Ok, I bought this one on a whim, I liked the title and I rarely read historical romance (like omg, the 60's is old times now) but the cover was cute enough for me to try this.

So back in the old days of the 60's, Preston wanted to open a bakery that also was a coffee shop. He wanted it so badly that he went to a medium and connected with a 19th century French baker ghost who taught him how to make delicious sweets.

Preston meets a man Oliver, who he falls for and also has the hots for him

They get together not only in their personal life but the business as well and live happily ever after.

This is a very short audio so I can't get into details but this is a fade to black using baking puns to describe sexytimes.

The narration was good, I have not read any books with Guy Veryzer before but they did a wonderful job

Ok so go to my Goodreads review to get more details on what I thought about this one. I hate typing on my phone so it will have all the details.

In here we have Jon, Donovan, Mack, and the forgotten to the end, Brandon.

Donovan and Brandon are literally the same character. It's very noticable in here.

Anyways, they get called in to help find the body of a teen. Then they find out that there's a heck of a lot of ghosts and a serial killer family.

Things get resolved as they always do, and Cho moves in with Garrett.

That's all we get about those two.

The narrator is still making everyone but Mack sound the same but at this point, it's fine.

So here we are in the next adventure of Jon and Donovan, who this time are flying to Vegas to help with a case. Yup, the man who kills electronics got on a plane. Which made Donovan mad and they had their first fight. All is well though, they make up immediately.

The one unbelievable thing that happens in this book is that Jon is pretty much treated like a demigod and his family, Donovan's family, and even his just met step family all go out of their way to do stuff for him. Like buying a Humvee or giving him an antique truck.

Anyways, the narrator was still off but by now, I'm ok with it.
