As a Cooper "fan" (in quotes because a lot of his stuff is demonstrable bullshit, and he was at least sometimes an abusive, fear-mongering prick) I really enjoyed this look into his life, books, and radio show.
The author tends to go on tangents, but they're usually enjoyable and interesting roads to travel down, so I didn't really mind. The reader is excellent.

One of the better fantasy novels I've read.
On par with The Name Of The Wind.

I've never read Lucy Dawson before.
A well written mystery that kept my interest throughout. I finished the book in one sitting.
I guessed the ending about half way through, but the story still kept me second guessing myself right up to the conclusion.
The narrator is excellent.

I really enjoyed this book, right from the first sentence straight through the ending. Wil Wheaton did an excellent job narrating it.
I'll definitely revisit this one. Probably more than once.

I love Carl Sagan.
I think this is perhaps his crowning achievement. The importance of sceptical thinking and detection of baloney is critical.

I thought maybe it just downloaded funny until I read the other reviews here. The audio definitely cuts out mid sentence, or mid word multiple times. Not in any way that seriously hinders the story, but it IS extremely annoying.
And speaking of cuts, the story is sooooooooooooo long.
Obviously, IT is a masterpiece. I'm not disputing that in the least. All I'm saying is you could cut out at least 3 or 4 hours of audio without hampering the story at all. Not even a smidgen. Parts of the tale seem to drag on for an eternity, and you wonder why the hell you're listening to this. Then you get to a good section and remember why you love the book so much. When he's on target, King is exceptional.
If you can ignore the audio cutting out, Stephen Weber actually does a damn fine job with the narration. I'd bump it to 5 stars if they fixed the clipping issue.

Ignore the naysayers and give this a try.
The narration is amazing, and the story is pretty funny.
I'll be getting all of these just to hear him read Philip.

The only thing better than a Dresden book is having it narrated by James Marsters.
I will be getting all of them.
Butcher's writing and storytelling continues to improve with each consecutive chapter of the Dresden saga.
Having read the previous 4 books, I think this one is FAR superior (not that they weren't great as well) because it continues everything you know and love about Harry while introducing a shitload of avenues for the story to take in the future. You can really sense the world opening up in this book.
I'm excited to see where the rest of the series goes.

The narration is perfect for the story.
Got me hooked. I bought the Omnibus for books 1-3 and plan on buying the 4th.
The story is pretty good, and has a compelling main character and plenty of gruesome zombie carnage.
