This is where everything changes…
Revisado: 09-18-23
I’ve been a fan of this series for more years that I can remember and since the books were still in single digits. I keep coming back to the audiobooks for both the story and for James Marsters’s brilliant and inspired performances.
I have no idea how many times I’ve listened to this book over the years, but this book is still a gut-punch.
Changes is probably the hardest hitting in the franchise up to this point and marks a point in the life of Wizard Harry Dresden’s life after which nothing can or will ever be the same.
For those of you caught up with the series (at this point, “The Law” novella is the current release), you’ll know that, in line with the book’s title, this is where it all changes for Harry and will set in motion consequences still being felt in the series in late 2023.

No skill is more important in today's world than being able to think about, understand, and act on information in an effective and responsible way. What's more, at no point in human history have we had access to so much information, with such relative ease, as we do in the 21st century. But because misinformation out there has increased as well, critical thinking is more important than ever. These 24 rewarding lectures equip you with the knowledge and techniques you need to become a savvier, sharper critical thinker in your professional and personal life.

Historia
In the 10 years since his classic Kitchen Confidential first alerted us to the idiosyncrasies and lurking perils of eating out, much has changed for the subculture of chefs and cooks, for the restaurant business and for Anthony Bourdain. Medium Raw explores those changes, tracking Bourdain's strange and unexpected voyage from journeyman cook to globe-traveling professional eater and drinker, and even to fatherhood. Bourdain takes no prisoners as he dissects what he's seen.

great for fans and foodies alike
Revisado: 11-12-18
Bourdain's follow up to Kitchen Confidential shows how he's grown since KC both professionally and personally, and serves as an excellent observation point in his career. it's both witty and thought provoking as it highlights so much of what the world will miss after his passing.
as a die-hard Bourdain fan, hearing his voice as he narrates this book reminds me to treasure life and the meals we share with others.

Gaiman at his best
Revisado: 08-14-16
I can't count how many times I've read (or listened to) Neverwhere, but it continues to be one of my all-time favorite books.
Even after all this time, the ending always leaves me involuntarily grinning like an idiot.
You can't go wrong with Gaiman, and Gaiman reading Gaiman is truly a treat.
